Who is Julie Schott? Everything You Need to Know About Her!

Okay, so, let’s talk about this whole Julie Schott thing. I got really into her story, and I just had to try some of her stuff.

Who is Julie Schott? Everything You Need to Know About Her!

First off, I found out that she used to be a beauty editor at Elle. That’s a big deal, right? Like, she knows her stuff when it comes to beauty products. Then, she started this brand, Starface, back in 2019, along with this guy named Brian Bordainick.

So, I went ahead and did a little more digging. Turns out, the whole idea behind Starface is to make having pimples, like, not a bad thing. And who wouldn’t want that, honestly?

Their main product is these cute little yellow star-shaped patches called “hydro-stars.” They’re made of hydrocolloid, which I found out is this stuff that sucks all the gunk out of your pimples. Plus, they protect your zits from, like, getting more infected and stop you from picking at them. And picking is definitely a problem of mine!

  • First Step: Getting My Hands on Some

  • I managed to snag a pack of these hydro-stars, and I was pretty excited to try them. I mean, even the Biebers are supposedly fans.

  • Second Step: Putting Them to the Test

  • I waited for a good, juicy pimple to pop up, and sure enough, one did. I slapped one of those yellow stars right on it before I went to bed.

  • Third Step: Waking Up to a Surprise

  • Okay, so, the next morning, I peeled off the star, and I gotta say, I was impressed. The pimple was noticeably smaller and way less red. It was like magic!

  • Fourth Step: Spreading the Word

  • I’ve been telling everyone about these little stars. They’re so much fun to use, and they actually work. Plus, they make having a pimple, like, a little less awful. They really do help prevent me from picking.

Then, I checked out her other brands. There’s @futurewise, which is all about “slugging” – apparently, it’s a big skincare trend. I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s on my list. And then there’s @blipworld, which is some kind of smoking-cessation thing. That’s not really my thing, but hey, good for her for branching out.

So, yeah, that’s my whole journey into the world of Julie Schott and her brands. Honestly, I’m a fan. She’s taken something that’s usually seen as negative, like acne, and turned it into something kind of fun and empowering. Pretty cool, if you ask me.
