You know, I heard the name Samira Nasr somewhere. Sounds like a big shot. She’s the big boss, the editor-in-chief, of that fancy magazine, Harper’s BAZAAR. That’s what they call it, right? Harper’s BAZAAR. I think I seen it at the market once.

Samira Nasr: Get the Inside Scoop on Her Latest Projects

This Samira Nasr, she got that job back in, let me think, July 2020. Seems like a long time ago. Or maybe not. Time flies when you’re havin’ fun, or when you are busy, I guess. I heard they say, she works for Hearst Magazines. They must make a lot of magazines, I reckon, to be called that.

They say she’s the first, what’s that word… Arab American. First one of them to be the boss of that magazine. Big deal, I guess. Good for her. It is good to see women gettin’ ahead. We need more of that, I always say. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

Now, this Samira Nasr, she weren’t born here, you know. She came from somewhere called Montreal. Sounds French. Is that in Canada? Must be. Came all the way to New York to learn about, what was it? Journalism. That’s writin’ for newspapers and such. I reckon she’s done pretty good for herself, ended up at that Harper’s BAZAAR.

I seen her picture somewhere. She looks like a nice lady. She’s been workin’ in fashion for a long time, someone was sayin’. You know, dresses and shoes and all that stuff. I used to like lookin’ at them pretty dresses in the catalogs when I was a girl. Never could afford none of ’em, though.

  • Samira Nasr, big boss of Harper’s BAZAAR.
  • Got the job in July 2020.
  • She’s from Montreal, Canada.
  • Came to New York to study journalism.
  • Worked in fashion a long time.

They say this Samira Nasr, she “earned” her place. Worked hard, I bet. Nothin’ comes easy, that’s for sure. You gotta put in the work if you want to get anywhere in this life. She seems to have a good attitude about life.

Samira Nasr, that Harper’s BAZAAR, it’s been around for a long time, too. Over 150 years, I heard someone say. That’s older than me! Imagine that. They must be doin’ somethin’ right to last that long. Like a good, strong tree, you know? Gotta have deep roots.

I don’t know much about this fancy magazine world, but it sounds like this Samira Nasr is makin’ a difference. Changin’ things up. Good for her. We need more women like her, I say. Strong women who ain’t afraid to work hard and make their mark on the world.

I bet she’s got a lot of stories to tell. All them years workin’ in fashion and magazines. Must see a lot of interestin’ things. Maybe she’ll write a book someday. I’d read it. Well, maybe I’d have someone read it to me. My eyes ain’t what they used to be.

This Samira Nasr, she’s an inspiration, that’s what she is. Shows that you can come from anywhere, work hard, and make somethin’ of yourself. Don’t matter where you start, it’s where you finish that counts. She sure is proof of that, I guess.

Harper’s BAZAAR is lucky to have her, I reckon. She seems like the kind of person who’d treat everyone fair, from the big shots to the little people. That’s important. We’re all in this together, you know. The most important thing is to be kind, I always say. That is something that does not cost anythin’ but it can make a world of difference.

I hope she keeps doin’ what she’s doin’. Makin’ a difference. Showin’ the world what women can do. This Samira Nasr, she’s alright. The world needs more women like her in the world. She is a good example of how to make your dreams come true.

I don’t know much about her personal life, but I bet she has a good family. A supportive one. That’s important, too. Havin’ people who believe in you. Helps you get through the tough times. And there’s always tough times, ain’t there? We need to support each other. That is what matters at the end of the day.

Well, I guess that’s all I know about this Samira Nasr and Harper’s BAZAAR. Sounds like she’s doin’ big things. Good for her. This magazine is very lucky to have a woman like her runnin’ the show. I am sure she will make it even better.
