Well, let me tell you about these Nike patch shoes. See, shoes these days, they ain’t like they used to be. Back in my day, we had one pair, maybe two, and we wore ’em ’til they fell apart. But now? My goodness, so many choices! And these Nike ones, they got patches. Patches! Like the quilts my mama used to make.

Nike Shoes, They’re Everywhere!
You can’t walk down the street without seeing them Nike shoes. Every kid, every grown-up, wearing them. They are popular, and everyone likes them. They are everywhere. You see them all over the town. In 2022, it was 38.2% all over the world. That’s almost half, you know? And this year, I heard, it’s gonna be 30% on the shoes made for sports. That’s a lot of shoes, a lot of Nikes! And since 2011, they said it is 67.6% more. That’s too many numbers. But it means a lot, a lot of people are wearing them.
Now, these Nike patch shoes, they’re something else. They got all these colors, all sewn together. Reminds me of when I was a girl, and we didn’t have much. We’d take scraps of cloth and sew ’em together to make something new. That’s what these shoes look like. A little bit of this, a little bit of that, all colorful and bright.
- Bright colors, all mixed up!
- Looks like a quilt, I swear!
- Got that Nike swoosh on ’em, big as day.
- All the kids are wearing ’em.
These Nike patch shoes are very popular. People like them a lot. They are famous. 1973, they said, people started to like Nike shoes. They ran in them. Then they made shoes called Cortez. People liked those too. And then Nike, they started putting their name everywhere. On TV, on paper. So everyone knew about them. And they sold a lot of shoes. In 2024, they said they made $33 billion! That’s more money than I can even think of.
Why Folks Like Them Nike Patch Shoes
I reckon people like these shoes ’cause they’re different. They ain’t plain, like some shoes. They got personality. And they’re Nike, so you know they’re gonna be good for your feet. Nike makes good shoes, even if they are a bit fancy for my taste.
They say these Nike patch shoes are good for walking, good for running. They got that cushion in there. They call it “Lunarlite foam.” Sounds like moon stuff. They got this other thing called “Flywire.” Sounds like something for catching bugs. And this shoe they call “Hyperdunk.” I don’t know what that means. And “Free footwear,” what’s that supposed to mean? Are they free? I don’t think so. They are just making new words.

I saw young folks wearing ’em, jumping around, playing basketball. They seem to like ’em. These shoes make them happy, I guess. That’s good. Keeps them out of trouble, maybe. You know the kids like to get those new things all the time.
And these Nike patch shoes come in all sorts of colors. Pink, blue, yellow, green. You name it, they got it. They even got some with that “Lobster” color. I don’t know why they call it that. It’s more like orange to me. And “Citron,” that’s like a lemon, right? “Doll,” that’s like a toy. Why they put that on a shoe, I don’t know. It’s all a bit much for me, but the young folks, they love it.
They Cost a Pretty Penny
Now, I ain’t gonna lie, these shoes, they ain’t cheap. They cost a pretty penny. More than I’d spend on shoes, that’s for sure. But folks are willing to pay for ’em. They must be worth it, I suppose. They are popular, and you can see that all over the world, not just here.
But even for me, an old lady like me, I can see why people like them Nike patch shoes. They’re fun, they’re colorful, and they’re different. And they are Nike. And Nike, well, they’ve been around for a long time. They must be doing something right. So, if you’re looking for some new shoes, and you want something a little different, maybe these Nike patch shoes are for you. Just be prepared to open up that wallet!
I still like my old shoes, though. They’re comfortable, and they’ve been with me for a long time. But these Nike patch shoes, they are something to look at, that’s for sure. And that big swoosh sign, everyone knows what that is. It’s like a mark, telling everyone you got Nike shoes.
