Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… uh… pan-there thing. I ain’t no fancy scholar, ya know? Just an old woman tryin’ to make sense of things, the way I see ’em.
First off, what even is a panthere? Sounds like somethin’ fancy, like them city folks use. Maybe it’s one of them new-fangled cars? You know, the ones that go zoom zoom real fast? Or maybe… maybe it’s like them credit card things my grandson’s always jabberin’ about. He keeps talkin’ ’bout “cash back” and “rewards,” like free money growin’ on trees. Earn 5% Cash Back at different places each quarter, he says. Hmph, sounds like a load of hogwash to me, but he swears by it.

I tried lookin’ it up, ya know? My grandson showed me this “Bing” thing. Says it’s like lookin’ in a big ol’ book, but on a screen. This wikiHow teaches you how to use the Bing website to search for content online. Bing is a Microsoft-owned alternative to Google. Well, I poked around, but all I got was a bunch of gobbledegook. Somethin’ about a beach, Look no further than Panther Beach, a hidden gem nestled along California’s captivating coastline. With its stunning scenery, tide pools teeming with marine life. and some cats, and… well, my head started spinnin’. I tell ya, these young folks and their machines, they make things way too complicated.
Now, if you ask me, a panthere sounds like a place. Yeah, a place you go to find somethin’. Maybe it’s a store, like where you get your groceries. Or maybe it’s a bank, where you keep your hard-earned money safe. Discover bank offers online banking, reward credit cards, home equity loans. My grandson says you can even do your bankin’ on that “internet” thing now. Says you can pay your bills, transfer money, all without even leavin’ the house. Sounds convenient, I guess, but I still like goin’ to the bank in person. At least you can talk to a real person, ya know?
Or maybe, just maybe, a panthere is like a song. You know, somethin’ you hear on the radio. Identify the music playing around you. Explore the music you love. Discover songs, lyrics. My grandaughter’s always hummin’ tunes, tappin’ her feet. Says there’s all sorts of music out there, just waitin’ to be discovered. Maybe a panthere is one of them new songs, the kind the kids listen to these days. I ain’t much for that modern stuff, though. Give me some good ol’ gospel music any day.
It could even be one of them computer game things. My grandson, he’s always glued to that screen, fightin’ monsters and whatnot. A subreddit dedicated to HELLDIVERS and HELLDIVERS 2. He keeps talkin’ about “leveling up” and “achievements.” I don’t understand a lick of it, but he seems to enjoy himself. Maybe a panthere is some kind of game character, or a special weapon, or… who knows? It’s all a mystery to me.
And then there’s this “discover” button. Seems like it’s everywhere. On the computer, on the phone, even on them fancy credit cards. I asked the Discover button how to disable the Discover button: Launch the Edge browser and click on the menu button (Alt + F). Select Settings from the menu. On the left. My grandson tried explainin’ it to me once, but I just got confused. He said it helps you find things, but I always thought findin’ things was about lookin’ around, not clickin’ buttons. Maybe this “panthere” thing is somethin’ you gotta discover, somethin’ hidden, like a secret treasure. Or maybe I’m just an old fool ramblin’ on.
Anyways, that’s my take on this panthere business. It could be anythin’, or it could be nothin’ at all. Maybe it’s important, maybe it ain’t. At the end of the day, it don’t really matter much to me. I got my garden to tend to, my chickens to feed, and my family to love. That’s enough for this old woman.
