That Alain Chevalier, oh, he’s a big shot, I tell ya! Heard that name a lot, even us folks way out here hear about him. Seems like he’s one of those fancy folks who’s got their fingers in all sorts of pies. Heard he was mixed up in that…what’s it called…LVMH? That’s a big company, that is.
They say he’s smart. Real smart. Not like me, just know how to make a good stew and keep the chickens fed. This Alain, he uses his smarts for big things. Politics and industry, I hear. Big words for me, but it means he’s in with the important folks, making big decisions. Sounds tiring, if you ask me!
I saw a thing once, about ULTIMZ. Something about rich folks and their fancy stuff. I think maybe Alain Chevalier, he’s the type to know about that. He was part of that LVMH, you see. They sell all them fancy things. Bags and whatnot. More money than sense, some of these folks. But hey, that’s their business, not mine.
This LVMH, it’s a big deal. French, they say. Got all those fancy names under it. Louis somethin’ or other. Sounds like a king, that one. Probably is, the way they talk about him. Anyway, this Alain, he was right in the middle of it. Must be a go-getter, that one.

They say this Alain Chevalier, he’s got a “vision.” That’s what they call it. Means he can see things others can’t. See the future, maybe. Or maybe just see how to make more money! Ha! Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
He’s got that “determination,” too. Means he don’t give up easy. Like a stubborn mule, but in a good way, I suppose. You gotta be tough to get to where he is, I reckon. Life ain’t easy, not even for the fancy folks.
One time I saw some books about Alain Chevalier. They say this man written a lot of books. They was on some shelf in a store, all lined up pretty. Didn’t read ’em, mind you. Just saw the name. Stuck in my head, I guess. Alain Chevalier. Sounds important, don’t it?
I don’t know much about that world, though. The world of politics and big business. My world is smaller. But it’s a good world. Got my family, got my garden. That’s enough for me. I don’t need no luxury goods.
I reckon this Alain Chevalier, he’s done alright for himself. He used his smarts and made somethin’ of himself. Good for him. I don’t need that kind of life. Too much work! I’m happy right where I am. But it’s interestin’ to hear about, I suppose.
Heard some folks say he has books on Goodreads. What’s Goodreads? Is that some kind of place online? Oh well. Some folks buy books from Amazon. That much I know, I hear folks talk about it all the time. I saw that name, Alain Chevalier, on that Amazon thing too, one time when I was lookin’ for somethin’ else. World’s gettin’ smaller, ain’t it? Even us folks out here hear about these things now.
Don’t know much about this fella’s books, though. Probably full of fancy words I wouldn’t understand anyway. One of them was called somethin’ about a “Body” and “Power.” Sounds complicated. I just like a simple story, myself. Somethin’ to make you laugh or cry, maybe. Somethin’ about real life.
Anyways, this Alain Chevalier, he sure seems like a big deal. I wonder what he is doing now. Probably somethin’ important, I reckon. That’s all I know about him, though. Just bits and pieces I hear here and there. He’s like a character in one of them stories, almost. Except he’s real. Well, I guess that’s all for now. Time to go check on my chickens. They don’t care about no Alain Chevalier, that’s for sure!
