Alright, let’s yak about this Harley gal from that Suicide Squad movie. You know, the one with the bats and all them crazy folks. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I seen the pictures and heard the young’uns talkin’. Seems like this Harley, she’s got more outfits than I got aprons, and that’s sayin’ somethin’.
First off, in that Suicide Squad 2 movie, they say she went back to lookin’ like a clown, a jester they call it. Like them fellas that used to juggle balls at the county fair, you know? She got two new get-ups in that movie, totally different from before. I guess she got tired of the same old rags.
Now, they went and made clothes so you can dress up like her, like that actress, what’s her name? Margo Robbie, that’s it. They sellin’ all sorts of Harley stuff, dresses, pants, whatever you want. Guess some folks really like lookin’ like a crazy gal.
This Harley girl, she ain’t always looked the same, you see. She started out looking like one of them diamond-shaped things, a harlequin they call it. All in one piece, like a jumpsuit. But then she changed, started wearin’ different things. Like a chameleon, changin’ colors to fit in wherever she goes. They say her clothes show what she’s up to, what she can do, and what kind of person she is. Makes sense, I guess. You wouldn’t wear your Sunday best to slop the hogs, would ya?

They say somethin’ about chemicals turnin’ her skin all white and blue-ish, like that Joker fella. I don’t know much about that, sounds like somethin’ you’d find in them science books. But I heard there’s different versions of Harley and the Joker, so maybe it ain’t always the same story. Like them old wives’ tales, everyone tells ’em a little different.
Then, they say back in 2011, they changed her look again, made her all modern and such. I reckon they do that to keep the young’uns interested. Always gotta have somethin’ new, somethin’ shiny. Like them newfangled cars, always got some new bells and whistles.
So, this Harley Quinn, she’s got a whole closet full of different looks. From a clown to a modern gal, she’s done it all. I guess that’s why folks like her, she’s always changin’, always keepin’ you guessin’. Like the weather, you never know what you’re gonna get. And now, you can even dress up like her, if you’re into that sort of thing. Me? I’ll stick to my aprons, thank you very much.
I heard some folks sayin’ her outfits are more than just clothes, that they tell a story about who she is and what she’s been through. Sounds like a lot of fuss over some clothes to me, but then again, I ain’t never been one for fancy things. Give me a good sturdy pair of overalls any day. But I guess if you’re gonna be fightin’ alongside all them crazy folks in the Suicide Squad, you might as well look good doin’ it, right? And Harley, well, she sure knows how to put on a show.
Anyway, that’s all I know about this Harley gal and her outfits. It’s a lot to take in for an old woman like me, but I done my best to tell it like I heard it. If you wanna know more, you’ll have to go ask them young’uns, they know all about this stuff. Me, I gotta go feed the chickens.
