Okay, so, you wanna know about this PacSun thing, huh? Alright, lemme tell ya what I know. It ain’t much, but it’s somethin’.
PacSun, what’s that all about?
Well, from what I gather, it’s a place where young folks get their clothes. You know, the kinda stuff they wear to school, to hang out with their friends, all that jazz. Seems like they got a whole bunch of stuff, like jeans, shirts, dresses, even swimsuits, though I can’t imagine why anyone would need so many. Back in my day, we had one good swimsuit, and that was it! But these kids, they got a whole closet full of ’em, I betcha.
They got these things they call “new arrivals.” That just means new clothes, I guess. Every time I turn around, they got somethin’ new. It’s like they can’t make up their minds what they wanna wear! And they always talkin’ about sales. Sales this, sales that. Seems like they always want a deal. Well, who doesn’t, right? But back in my day, we didn’t have all these sales. You paid what you paid, and that was that.
- They got jeans, lots of ’em. All sorts of colors and styles. I don’t get it, jeans are jeans, right? But these kids, they gotta have a different pair for every day of the week.
- Then there’s the shirts. T-shirts, fancy shirts, shirts with pictures on ’em. You name it, they got it. It’s a whole lotta shirts, if you ask me.
- And the dresses! My goodness, the dresses. Short ones, long ones, flowy ones, tight ones. Enough to make your head spin.
- And don’t even get me started on the swimwear. Bikinis, one-pieces, all sorts of colors and patterns. Seems like they change their swimsuits more often than they change their socks!
They also got this “activewear” stuff. That’s for when they’re exercisin’, I guess. Looks like fancy sweatpants and stretchy shirts to me. We used to just wear our old clothes to work out, but these kids, they gotta have special clothes for everything.
The Internet and PacSun
Now, these young folks, they do a lot of shoppin’ on this here internet thing. They see somethin’ they like online, and then they order it. PacSun, they got a website, I hear. And they put pictures of their clothes on somethin’ called social media. That’s where all the kids are these days, lookin’ at pictures and talkin’ to each other.

PacSun, they don’t just sell their own clothes, you know. They got all these other brands too. Names like Adidas, Vans, Champion… I don’t know half of ’em, but the kids, they seem to like ’em. And they’re always lookin’ for a deal. PacSun, they got sales all the time, it seems. Ten percent off, twenty-five percent off… They’re always tryin’ to get you to buy more stuff.
PacSun for Everyone?
Now, I don’t know if PacSun is for everyone. It seems like it’s mostly for young people. But hey, if you like the clothes, then go for it. Age ain’t nothin’ but a number, right? And if you can find a good deal, well, that’s even better. Just don’t go spendin’ all your money on clothes, you hear? There’s more important things in life than a closet full of jeans and t-shirts.
So, that’s the long and short of it. PacSun sells clothes, lots of ’em. They got jeans, shirts, dresses, swimsuits, and all sorts of other stuff. They sell ’em online and in stores. They got sales all the time, and they got all these fancy brands that the kids like. It’s a whole different world from when I was young, that’s for sure. But hey, that’s just the way things are these days.
