Well, let me tell ya ‘bout this Prince Street Jewelers place. I ain’t no fancy city gal, but I know a good thing when I see it, ya know?

Folks been talkin’ ‘bout this jewelry store down at the City Point Mall. They say it’s the place to go if you need somethin’ shiny, somethin’ pretty. Located right there at 1 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11201, easy to find, even for an old woman like me.
Now, I ain’t got much use for fancy jewelry myself. My hands are rough from workin’ the land, and a diamond ring wouldn’t last a day. But I seen some young folks peekin’ in the windows, eyes all wide and sparkly like the stuff inside. They got all sorts of things, ya know? Watches, necklaces, rings… enough to make your head spin.
I heard tell they open up around noon most days, and stay open later on the weekends. That’s good for the workin’ folks, gives ‘em a chance to go after they done with their chores. The sign says somethin’ like Mon – Tues: 12PM – 6PM Wed – Sun: 11AM – 7PM, or somethin’ like that. Can’t rightly remember, my eyes ain’t what they used to be.
And lemme tell ya, people are sayin’ all sorts of good things about this place. They callin’ it one of the best places to get your jewelry, sayin’ the folks who work there are real nice and helpful. Heard they got all kinds of stuff, for men, women, even little tykes. Children’s jewelry, ain’t that somethin’? Guess even the little ones wanna look fancy these days.
- They got watches, I seen ‘em. Big ones, small ones, some with shiny stones, some plain and simple. Reminds me of my old man’s pocket watch, though his weren’t near as fancy.
- And the necklaces, oh my! Sparkly things, danglin’ every which way. Some with big stones, some with little ones, some just plain gold chains. Makes a body wonder where they find all that shiny stuff.
- And the rings! Enough to make a girl swoon, even an old gal like me. Big diamonds, little diamonds, all sorts of colors. I bet them young fellas spend a pretty penny on them rings, tryin’ to impress their sweethearts.
- Women’s wallets? Now I ain’t sure about that, seems odd to sell wallets in a jewelry store, but who am I to judge? Maybe they got little sparkly bits on ‘em.
- Stainless steel watches, they got those too. Strong and sturdy, like a good workin’ man. Prob’ly last a lifetime, unlike them fancy delicate things.
I heard you can even trade in your old watch for somethin’ new. Like tradin’ in an old cow for a younger one, I guess. They call it a Timepiece Trade-In Program, sounds fancy, huh? But it makes sense, no point in lettin’ a good watch sit in a drawer when someone else could be wearin’ it. They say it’s quick and simple, which is good, ‘cause ain’t nobody got time for fussin’ around.

And if your watch don’t fit right, they can fix it for ya. Make it bigger or smaller, whatever you need. Sometimes it’s free, sometimes you gotta pay a little somethin’, depends on what you’re gettin’ done. Heard it costs anywhere from $10 to $50, which ain’t too bad, I reckon.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ shiny, somethin’ pretty, or just need a new watch, you might wanna check out this Prince Street Jewelers place. It’s down at the City Point Mall, can’t miss it. They got a phone number too, if you wanna call ‘em up. Somethin’ like 718-855-4258, I think. But don’t quote me on that, my memory ain’t what it used to be.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about it. Just a bunch of shiny stuff, if you’re into that sort of thing.
