So I got totally obsessed with that Fendi Dragonite design last Tuesday after seeing some influencer flaunt it. My wallet cried immediately though – stuff from boutiques costs way too much. Grabbed my ancient laptop, coffee cold already, and started digging around online shops.

The Initial Shock
First stop? Official Fendi site obviously. Jaw hit the floor seeing $3,600 for a tiny bag charm. Felt like robbery. Went straight to my saved luxury outlet tabs hoping for magic. Nada. Every “affordable” listicle showed knockoffs or wrong products. Was ready to chuck my phone out the window.
Getting Sneaky With Searches
Changed tactics completely. Started typing every combo imaginable into search bars:
- “Fendi dragon charm pre-owned”
- “Dragonite pouch sale”
- “Last season Dragonite accessories discount”
Scrolled past forty pages of garbage. Fingers cramped. Suddenly struck gold – this obscure consignment shop’s new arrivals page showed it for $1,100! Nearly spat out my coffee. Description said “minor scuff near clasp”.
The Haggling Game
Immediately hit their chat button like my life depended on it. Agent “Cynthia” took ages responding. Sent close-up photos demanding better price. Played hardball mentioning competitor sites (lied). After three painful hours, they caved: $899 including shipping. Smashed that checkout button so fast.

Annoying Reality Check
Celebrated too early obviously. FedEx tracking froze for five days. Started panic-emailing Cynthia daily. Turns out their warehouse flooded (sure it did). Then – miracle! Found identical Dragonite pouch on another site’s flash sale for $810 mint condition. Facepalmed so hard. Immediately cancelled first order, fought for refund for two hours via angry phone call.
Moral? Dragons cost less when you’re stubborn as hell and ready to waste a whole week.
