The show got canceled after the first season, can you believe it? Folks just weren’t watchin’ it enough. But then, they brought it back, and it got real popular. Guess folks started to appreciate them lifeguards and their hard work.

Rescues and Such
Now, they had all sorts of rescues on that show. People gettin’ caught in rip currents, folks gettin’ hurt on their boats, all kinda things. And the lifeguards, they were always there, ready to jump in and help. They’d use their rescue boards, their boats, sometimes even just their bare hands, whatever it took to get folks back to safety. There’s this one episode where they used rescue boats to save people, I reckon they were real careful to get the rescue boats just right, you know, for the show.
