Today totally sucked trying to figure out Longines watches for women. I swear their sizing is a secret society. Thought I’d just waltz into a store, grab one done deal. Ha! Actual clown show.

First mistake: trusted the wrist measurements on their official site. Measured my wrist at 14cm like they said – wrapped a tape measure around it five times ’cause my hands were shaking. Picked a 34mm watch based on their chart. Looked like a dinner plate on me when the package arrived. Felt like I strapped a hubcap on. Complete disaster.
Okay fine, hit the actual jewelry store downtown. Sales lady hands me like ten different Longines ladies watches. Tried ’em all on like some weird jewelry try-on session:
- Mini ones (26mm): Felt like a kid’s toy watch, silly on my adult wrist
- Popular 29mm: Better…but still felt tiny and weak looking
- 34mm again: Still huge. Told the lady “Nah, looks wrong.”
Lady just shrugged. She had no clue either! Started grabbing random stuff off the shelf. Got desperate. Picked up some huge 40mm man’s watch as a joke. Guess what? Fit perfectly. Comfortable. Looked good. Total mind-blow moment. All their “women’s guides” were useless junk.
Left the store mad confused. Why’s their sizing this messed up? Turns out Longines doesn’t actually make watches specifically for women’s wrists. Nah. They just shrink or stretch men’s styles, call it a day. No real engineering behind it. Their size charts? Hot garbage based on nothing real.
Ended up getting that giant man’s watch. Fits like a glove.

My two cents: ignore every official guide Longines puts out. Go put the damn watch on your actual wrist. Felt stupid realizing how obvious that was after wasting a whole afternoon. Anyway. Learned it the hard way so you don’t gotta.
