Where to Buy Christmas Jordans: Ultimate Guide

Okay, here’s my take on “Christmas Jordans,” blog style, just like you asked.

Where to Buy Christmas Jordans: Ultimate Guide

Right, so, “Christmas Jordans.” I know, I know, sounds kinda basic, but hear me out. I had this idea brewing for a while – a Christmas-themed Jordan colorway. Not just throwing some red and green on any old shoe, but something with a bit more thought, a bit more… me.

First thing I did was hit up my local sneaker spot. Gotta get the right canvas, y’know? I ended up snagging a pair of Jordan 1 Mids. Figured they were a good middle ground – not too hyped, not too plain. Plus, they were on sale, which always helps the budget.

Next step, the design. I spent a good week just sketching ideas in my notebook. Seriously, pages and pages of Christmas trees, snowflakes, candy canes, the whole shebang. I wanted something subtle, not like a walking Christmas tree. I landed on a color palette of deep burgundy (like a good Christmas wine), forest green, and a touch of gold for that festive sparkle.

Then came the fun part – actually painting! I taped off the areas I didn’t want to touch (painter’s tape is your best friend here, trust me), and started with the burgundy on the toe box and heel. I used Angelus leather paint, which is pretty much the standard for sneaker customization. It goes on smooth and lasts forever, assuming you prep the leather properly.

After the burgundy dried (patience is key!), I moved onto the green on the side panels. This was a bit trickier because I wanted a subtle ombre effect, fading from dark green at the bottom to a lighter shade at the top. I ended up using a sponge to blend the colors, which worked surprisingly well.

Now for the gold accents. I wanted to use it sparingly, just to highlight certain areas. I painted the swoosh gold, as well as the Jordan Wings logo on the ankle. It added just the right amount of pop without being over the top.

Once all the paint was dry, I sealed everything with a matte finisher. This protects the paint from scratches and scuffs, and gives the shoes a more professional look. I also swapped out the laces for some burgundy ones to tie the whole look together.

Honestly? I was pretty stoked with how they turned out. They’re definitely a statement piece, but not in a flashy, look-at-me way. They’re more like a subtle nod to the holidays, something you can wear year-round.

I wore them to Christmas dinner this year and got a ton of compliments. My aunt even asked me to make her a pair! Maybe I’ll start taking orders… nah, just kidding (unless?). Anyway, that’s the story of my Christmas Jordans. Hope you dug it!
