Okay, so I’ve been eyeing the Neonoe BB for a while now. I mean, who hasn’t? It’s such a cute little bucket bag. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get one. Let me tell you, the whole process was quite the journey.
First off, I spent hours, maybe even days, scrolling through pictures online. You know how it is, trying to decide on the color and material. I was torn between the classic Monogram and the Empreinte leather. They both looked so good! The Monogram is iconic, you know? But that Empreinte leather, with the subtle logo pressed into it, it just screams classy. Plus, I saw some pictures with that gold chain, and it was gorgeous, I tell you!
The Decision-Making Struggle
After much internal debate, I decided on the Empreinte leather in a pastel tone. It felt a bit more understated, and I figured it would be more versatile. I imagined myself carrying it with so many different outfits. I also learned it first appeared in 2017, I was like, “wow, it’s a relatively new style!”
- Finding a Store: Next up, the hunt for the actual bag. Not as easy as you’d think! I called a few boutiques, and some were out of stock. Can you believe it? Finally, I found one that had it, so I rushed over there like my life depended on it.
- The Big Moment: When I finally saw it in person, it was even better than I imagined. It’s small, but not too small, you know? About 10 inches wide, they told me. Perfect for my everyday essentials. And that soft, supple leather! Oh, and the pale gold hardware! It was love at first sight.
- Trying it On: The sales associate was super helpful. She showed me the detachable top handle and the removable strap. You can carry it by hand, on your shoulder, or even crossbody. Options, people! I love options!
Bringing it Home: Of course, I bought it. How could I not? I carefully placed it in its dust bag and took it home like it was a precious gem. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I’m still so in love. It fits everything I need, it’s comfortable to carry, and it just makes me feel good. I researched and found out the original was designed in 1932, such a long history behind this bag.
So yeah, that’s the story of my Neonoe BB. It was a bit of a process, but so worth it. If you’re thinking about getting one, I say go for it! You won’t regret it. At least, I sure don’t. It’s more than just a bag, it’s a little piece of happiness I get to carry around.
