Van Cleef Arpels Fake vs Real: How to Tell the Difference

Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “Van Cleef & Arpels” bracelets everywhere. You know, the ones with the little clovers? They’re super cute, but also, like, crazy expensive. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands, I’m going to find Van Cleef & Arpels fake. A journey to find a good dupe.

Van Cleef Arpels Fake vs Real: How to Tell the Difference

The Search Begins

I started by browsing, I just typed in “clover bracelet” and hoped for the best.

I scrolled through pages. And there’re various options.

My next stop was those social media. Surely someone on there had already cracked the code, right?

  • I found a bunch of posts with people showing off their “finds.”
  • Some looked pretty good, others… not so much. It was a real mixed bag.

I spent a good few hours just comparing different options. I looked at the size of the clovers, the color of the “stones,” and the overall quality of the bracelet. Some were super cheap, which made me nervous. Others were a bit more expensive, but still way less than the real thing.

Narrowing It Down

After all that searching, I narrowed it down to a few potential winners. There were based on a few things:

  • Reviews: I tried to find options with actual customer reviews, I want to see what people got is same with the pictures.
  • Pictures: I compared the close-up shots to pictures of the real to check.
  • Price: I did not want to spend more than $50 on this experiment.

I ended up ordering two different bracelets. One was, the other was from a seller with a few reviews, but I would like to have a try.

The Results!

I get two bracelets after one week waiting! I ripped open the package and checked.

The cheaper one? Yeah, it looked cheap. The “gold” was kind of orange, and the clovers were a little wonky. Definitely not fooling anyone.

But the second one? I gotta say, I was pretty impressed! It still not perfect, but the gold color was much better, and the clovers were more delicate and accurate. It’s was a huge improvement! I can wear that out and not feel like I’m sporting a total fake.

Final Thoughts

So, my “Van Cleef & Arpels fake” mission was a success… mostly. I learned that you get what you pay for, for sure. Don’t expect miracles from a $10 bracelet. But, if you’re willing to do some digging and spend a little more, you can find a dupe that’s pretty darn good. I’m happy with my purchase, and I’m rocking my clover bracelet with pride (and without breaking the bank!).
