Take a look at the inside of Cartier Love Bracelet revealed.

I’ve always been a fan of those Cartier Love bracelets, you know, the ones that scream “I’m fancy” without even trying. But I’ve never really looked into what makes them tick. So, I decided it was time to do just that.

First things first, I grabbed one of my wife’s old Love bracelets that she doesn’t wear much anymore. I figured she wouldn’t miss it too much if I, you know, took it apart.

Getting into this thing was the first hurdle. It’s got these tiny little screws, and honestly, I spent a good chunk of time just trying to find a screwdriver that would even fit. Turns out, regular screwdrivers are way too big. I ended up using a screwdriver for eyeglasses. It worked in the end, but it was a struggle.

Unscrewing and Opening

  • Find the right screwdriver: This was way harder than it should have been.
  • Unscrew those tiny screws: My hands were cramping, seriously. I felt like a watchmaker or something.
  • Gently pry it open: I was so scared I’d break it, but I managed to get it open without any major damage.

Once I got it open, I was actually kind of surprised. It’s pretty simple inside. There’s this main body part, which is just one solid piece of metal, and it’s really sturdy. Then there are the two halves that come together to form the bracelet. They fit together perfectly, like a puzzle.

The screws, once I got a closer look, are actually quite clever. They’re designed in a way that they won’t easily come loose, which is good because you don’t want your super-expensive bracelet falling apart.

I spent some time just looking at how it all fit together, trying to figure out the mechanics of it. There are some numbers inside it, and I think they have something to do with production process. They are “597851”, “21”, and “Au750”. I guess “Au750” means gold.

Putting it back together was just as tricky as taking it apart, but I managed. It’s back in one piece, and I don’t think my wife will even notice I messed with it.

So, what did I learn? Well, those Cartier Love bracelets are definitely well-made. They’re simple but elegant, and the design is pretty ingenious. And, they’re a real pain to take apart! But it was a fun little experiment, and now I appreciate these bracelets even more. Maybe I’ll even get one for myself someday… but I’ll probably just admire them from afar. My hands still hurt from those tiny screws!
