Well, let me tell you, I saw these Swatch watches, the ones with Keith Haring all over them. Swatch Keith Haring watches, that’s what they call ’em. I tell you, they are somethin’ else.
What’s this Keith Haring? I don’t know. Somebody drew the picture. But I know Swatch. It is a watch, a watch brand. And it is Swiss made. Good stuff, Swiss made! That Swatch, they started back in, oh, I reckon it was 1983 or somethin’. That’s a long time ago! Long time ago! They made twelve watches at first. Twelve! And now, these Swatch Keith Haring watches, they just got all kinds of pictures on ’em. It is called BREAK FREE. I don’t know what that means.
These Swatch, they ain’t like them fancy gold watches. No sir! These is more for fun. They’re colorful. Like them pictures that fella Keith Haring drew. Bright and bold, like a rooster’s tail feathers!
I heard these Keith Haring Swatch watches, they ain’t too pricey, neither. Not like them fancy ones. You can get one and not break the bank. That’s good. Good for young folks. Good for old folks like me, who like a little somethin’ fun now and then.
Back in the day, we didn’t have no watches like these. No sir! We just had a plain old watch. Told the time, that’s all. Now they got watches with pictures. Who’d have thought?

They are expensive, but Swatch is cheaper. This Swatch Keith Haring watch is a chronograph watch. I don’t know what it means. It just sounds very expensive.
I remember when that Swatch first came out. It was a big deal! Everybody wanted one. They were new and different. Like nothin’ we’d ever seen before. And now they got these Keith Haring Swatch watches. It’s like they’re always comin’ up with somethin’ new.
I reckon that’s a good thing, though. Keeps things interestin’. Like that fella, Keith Haring, drawin’ all them pictures. He was probably just tryin’ to make somethin’ new and different, too. That’s right. It is said that Keith Haring did design several watches for Swatch. Several! I don’t know how many it is. But several must be a lot!
I tell you, the world’s a changin’ place. We got these fancy watches now, with pictures and all. It’s a long way from them old days, I tell ya. This Swatch watch is fun, fashionable and inexpensive. Yes. It is cheap! Everybody can buy one!
But you know what? It’s kinda nice. Somethin’ different, somethin’ fun. Like these Swatch Keith Haring watches. They just make you smile. And that’s somethin’ we all need a little more of, I reckon.
