Squale watches: Are they worth it? Dive into this detailed review and find out!

Hey everyone, today I want to share my experience with something called Squale. Now, I’m not a watch expert or anything, but I came across this brand and thought I’d give it a shot. So, let’s dive into it!

Squale watches: Are they worth it? Dive into this detailed review and find out!

First off, I started by doing some basic research. I found out that Squale isn’t as popular as, like, Rolex or Omega, but it’s got its own thing going on. They’ve been around since 1946, starting in a place called Neuchtel. That’s a pretty long time, right? Turns out, they’re all about making dive watch cases, and they’ve got a pretty solid reputation for that. They’re still owned by the same family, the Maggi family, who used to sell these watches in Italy. That’s a nice touch, I think, keeping it in the family.

So, after digging around a bit, I decided to get my hands on one. I went for their famous 50 Atmos model. They say it’s one of their most well-known designs. I figured, why not start with something they’re known for, you know? When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the case. It’s made from this Swiss 316L steel. Feels really sturdy and well-made. I mean, it’s supposed to be a dive watch, so it better be tough, right?

Next, I started messing around with it, checking out how it works. I’m no expert on watch movements, but from what I gathered, it uses something called the ETA-2824. Apparently, that’s a good thing. People say it’s like a reliable workhorse, so I guess that means it’ll keep ticking for a long time. I wore it around for a while, and it felt pretty comfortable on my wrist. It’s got a good weight to it, not too heavy, not too light. Just right, you know?

I even took it for a little test run, you could say. I wore it while swimming, just to see if it really lives up to the “dive watch” name. And, well, it did! No water got in, and it kept ticking along just fine. I’m not planning on going deep-sea diving anytime soon, but it’s nice to know it can handle a bit of water, right?

All in all, I’m pretty happy with my Squale experience. It’s a solid watch, does what it’s supposed to do, and it’s got that cool history behind it. It’s like owning a little piece of diving watch history, I guess. So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with Squale. If you’re into watches or just looking for something different, might be worth checking out. You never know, you might end up liking it as much as I did!
