That Addison Rae, she’s famous, right? From that TikTok thing, where they dance and all. She’s a big shot now, I guess. But honey, that outfit she wore to the VMAs 2024. Lord have mercy.
It was white, I remember that. White and, well, not much of it! Looked like she forgot half her dress at home. I tell ya, these young folks today, they wear anything. Back in my day, we’d never go out in public looking like that. No sir.

So, Addison Rae’s 2024 VMAs outfit, it was like, a bra, I guess. A white bra. Not even a pretty one, just plain white. And then some kind of, I don’t know, skirt thing? It wasn’t a proper skirt, that’s for sure. More like strips of cloth hanging down.

I saw some folks saying she looked good. Good? She looked like she was about to fall out of that thing! And cold, too. Didn’t she get a chill? That place, with all the air conditioning, you’d think she’d catch her death.

Now, I ain’t the only one who thought Addison Rae’s VMAs outfit was a sight. I heard some folks on the TV, they were saying all sorts of things. Some liked it, some didn’t. Just like everything else, I reckon. You can’t please everyone.
But I heard them saying it was “ridiculous” and “bizarre.” That’s the words they used. And I gotta say, I agree. It was ridiculous. Just plain silly. Like she was trying too hard to get folks to look at her.

They call it the “red carpet,” you know. That’s where all the stars walk before they go into the VMAs. They get their pictures taken, show off their fancy clothes. Well, Addison Rae sure showed off something alright.
I guess that’s what you gotta do these days to get famous. Wear something crazy, get people talking. Well, she got me talking, I’ll give her that. But not in a good way. More like a “what in the world was she thinking?” kind of way.

This Addison Rae, she’s young. Maybe she’ll learn. Learn that you don’t need to wear skimpy clothes to get attention. Maybe one day she’ll look back at that 2024 VMAs outfit and think, “What was I doing?”
Or maybe not. Maybe this is just how things are now. Maybe I’m the one who’s out of touch. But I still say, a little more fabric wouldn’t have hurt her. A little more class. You can be famous and still look decent, you know. I just don’t know what is wrong with Addison Rae’s outfit at VMAs in 2024.
Addison Rae’s Outfit, My Two Cents
Anyway, that’s my two cents on Addison Rae’s 2024 VMAs outfit. Not my cup of tea. Not at all. Give me a good old-fashioned dress any day. Something that covers you up, keeps you warm, and doesn’t make you look like you’re about to, well, you know.
But hey, that’s just me. Maybe I’m just an old lady who doesn’t understand these young folks and their crazy fashion. But I know what I like, and I know what looks good. And that Addison Rae VMAs outfit, honey, it just ain’t it.
I mean, she got everyone’s attention. But for the right reasons? That’s a big no. You don’t want to be known for a silly dress, do you? You want to be known for being good at something. Like that girl who sings, or that boy who acts in those movies. They wear fancy clothes too, but not like that. Not like Addison Rae’s outfit at the VMAs 2024. They at least look like they got dressed in the morning, not like they just rolled out of bed.
I don’t think it is too late for that girl. She has time to change. But she needs to start thinking about what she’s wearing. She needs to think about what people will say. And she needs to think about if she wants to be remembered for a silly outfit, or for something real. This is my advice for that girl. And for all you other young folks out there, too. Dress nice, be good, and don’t wear silly things just to get attention.
