Okay, so I saw this “Rolex Predictions 2024” thing popping up all over my watch forums and YouTube feeds. I figured, why not throw my hat in the ring and try to figure out what Rolex might do next year? It’s all just guesswork, of course, but it’s fun to speculate, right?

First, I jumped onto all the usual watch blogs and forums. You know, the big ones, and some of the smaller, more niche ones too. I spent a good few hours just reading through posts, comments, and articles. I was basically looking for any recurring themes or ideas. What were people hoping for? What seemed likely based on past Rolex releases?
Then, I started watching a bunch of YouTube videos. There are tons of watch channels out there, and many of them had already put out their 2024 predictions. I took notes on what the “experts” were saying, even though I take it all with a grain of salt. Sometimes, it feels like they’re just echoing each other.
- New Submariner colors? Maybe a green bezel with a black dial?
- Titanium Yacht-Master? That seemed to be a popular guess.
- Updated Explorer II? People were talking about a ceramic bezel.
- Some kind of new professional range?
After gathering all this info, I decided to make my own little spreadsheet. I listed out all the potential models and the predictions I’d seen. I even added a column for my own personal “wish list” – stuff I’d love to see, even if it’s unlikely. For example, the gmt master 2 “coke” bezel making a return.
Honestly, it’s tough to say what Rolex will actually do. They’re notoriously secretive. But based on my little deep dive, I think we might see some subtle updates to existing models, rather than anything groundbreaking. Maybe some new dial colors, a material change here and there. I doubt we’ll see a completely new model line, but hey, I’d love to be surprised!
And my final guess, is that the price will continue to go up! It wouldn’t be rolex without an annual price increase.
