So yesterday I was digging through my perfume stash, right? Found this half-empty bottle of Perry Ellis America for Women. Smelled amazing back when I bought it, but trying to get another bottle now? Forget it. Price jacked up like crazy or just vanished. Total rip-off trying to replace it directly.

The Hunt Begins
Hit up my usual perfume spots online. Zero luck with the original Perry Ellis America. Kept seeing this “360 Coral” popping up everywhere though. Notes like Italian Bergamot, pink pepper, peach Prosecco, some apple-pear thing? Sounded kinda similar, fresh and fruity, which I dig. Figured it was worth a shot. Saw someone mention the “18 Sensual” one too – EDP strength, supposed to be floral but kinda warm. Snagged samples of both since they were cheap.
Testing Ground: My Wrists
Got the samples this morning. First spray of the 360 Coral. Bam! That citrus bergamot hits you first, super bright. Then it smooths out. You get the peach fizz feel and that crisp apple-pear. Not a dupe for my old America, but actually really nice! Lighter maybe, super summery.
Then I tried the 18 Sensual on the other wrist. Different beast. Warmer right away, kinda sweet but not sugary sweet? More like… flower sweetness? Had to check the notes again – probably the florals doing that. Definitely feels stronger (that EDP thing) and lasts longer than the Coral for sure.
The Verdict
Here’s the thing:
- Want that bright, fresh, easy summer vibe? Go for the 360 Coral. Lighter than my old Perry Ellis America, but honestly, maybe even nicer for hot days. Feels happy.
- Want something stronger, lasts all day, smells warmer and kinda… cozy-sexy? 18 Sensual is your bet. Not a fruity bomb, more like a floral hug. Totally different direction from Coral, but good.
Neither one is the exact same as the Perry Ellis America I was mourning. But honestly? Stopped caring. Found two solid backups instead of crying over spilled perfume. Coral’s my new daytime favorite. 18 Sensual? That’s my evening pick now. Mission accomplished, wallet only slightly bruised.
