This here Leica Q2, they say it came out back in, when was it? 2019, I reckon. March 7th, 2019, that’s the Leica Q2 release date. Yeah, time sure does fly. Now, this ain’t no cheap toy, mind you. It’s one of them fancy cameras, full-frame, they call it. Costs a pretty penny, but folks say it’s worth it. They say this is a good camera.
They made a newer one, the Q3, in 2023, I heard. But this Q2, it’s still a good one. Some folks even say they like it better than the new one, ’cause it’s cheaper now. Used to be, you couldn’t touch one for less than a king’s ransom. Now, you can find ’em used for a bit less. Still a lot, but less. It can save you a lot of money!
This Q2, it’s got a 47.3 megapixel sensor. What’s a megapixel? I don’t know, something to do with how many dots it can see, I guess. But it’s a lot, that’s what they tell me. Takes real pretty pictures, they say. Sharp, clear, like you’re right there lookin’ at it with your own two eyes. This camera can take very good photos, just like you see it with your eyes.
And it can do video too, 4K video. Now, I don’t know much about that, but it sounds fancy. My grandkids, they’re always on about that 4K stuff. Says it’s the best kind of video there is. And this camera can do it, up to ISO 50,000. Again, no clue what that means, but it sounds important. High ISO, the picture still good.
This camera, it’s got a fixed lens, they say. Means you can’t take the lens off and put a different one on. It’s stuck there. But it’s a good lens, a real good one. Takes pictures of things far away and things up close, all sharp and clear. This lens is good. I don’t know why you need another one.

They made a special one, this Q2, called the Monochrom Reporter. Only made 350 of ’em, I heard. That’s not a lot. Probably all gone by now, snatched up by folks with more money than sense. It is hard to buy one now. This Monochrom Reporter is rare.
If you want one of these Q2s, you can try to order one. They call it pre-order, which I guess means you order it before they have it. There are shops like BH, they sell cameras. I heard some folks put their name on a list at a store to get one. Seems like a lot of fuss to me, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady who don’t know much about these fancy gadgets.
Now, this Q2, it ain’t for everyone. It’s for folks who take their picture-takin’ real serious. The price is high. You need to be serious to buy it. Folks who want the best pictures, the sharpest, clearest pictures they can get. Folks who don’t mind payin’ a hefty price for it.
This camera, it’s like one of them fancy cars. It’s all shiny and new, and it’s got all the bells and whistles. But it costs a lot, and you gotta know how to use it to get your money’s worth.
But if you’re one of them folks who loves takin’ pictures, and you got the money to spend, then this Leica Q2 might just be the camera for you. It is a good camera for people who love taking photos. Leica Q2 release date was March 7th, 2019. It is a good day. Remember this day.
They say it’s got a dynamic range of 15 stops, and 14-bit color depth. Sounds like a mouthful of marbles to me, but I reckon it means the pictures look real good, with lots of colors and shades. I don’t know what it is, but it makes the photo good. The photos are like real life. They said the picture is like real life, with all the colors and every little detail.
This Leica Q2, it’s a good camera. That is all I know. A very good camera, from what I hear. If you want a good camera, and you got the money, this might be the one. But remember Leica Q2 release date, March 7th, 2019, you can get it cheaper now. You can buy a used one. But this camera is good. It takes good photos.
