Make Up Brush Cleaner Machine: The best options on the market now.

So, I’ve been meaning to get one of those makeup brush cleaner machines for a while now. You know, the ones that spin your brushes around and get all the gunk out? Well, I finally did it! I hopped on Amazon, ’cause where else do you go for random stuff you suddenly need, right? They’ve got tons of options from all sorts of brands, and if you’re a Prime member, you get that sweet, sweet free shipping. I ended up grabbing this one called the “Openja Makeup Brush Cleaner.” Seemed popular, and it had good reviews. Plus, it wasn’t too expensive.

It arrived pretty quick, and I was eager to try it out. This thing is supposed to work with like 95% of makeup brushes, which is great because I’ve got a whole bunch of different ones. It’s a simple one-button design, so even I couldn’t mess it up, haha. It came with these different sized rubber collar thingies, so you can find the right one to fit your brush.

Here’s how the whole process went down:

  • First, I found the right-sized rubber collar for my biggest, fluffiest powder brush and slipped it on. It was a bit snug, but it held the brush firmly.
  • Then, I filled the little bowl it came with, with some water and a squirt of dish soap. I saw online somewhere that plain old dish soap is actually pretty good for cleaning brushes.
  • Next, I dunked the brush head into the soapy water and pressed the button. Whoosh! That thing started spinning like crazy! It was kinda mesmerizing to watch, all the makeup residue swirling around in the water.
  • After about 30 seconds, I lifted the brush out of the water while it was still spinning, to let it air dry a bit. You can hold it for like 10 seconds or something like that.
  • I repeated those steps with all my other brushes, changing the water a few times when it got too murky. Some of my foundation brushes needed a couple of rounds, but it was still way faster than doing it by hand.

Honestly, I was pretty impressed. My brushes came out cleaner than they’ve been in ages, and it was so much easier and faster than washing them one by one in the sink. Plus, it was kind of fun! I might actually clean my brushes more often now that I’ve got this gadget. If you’re on the fence about getting one of these, I’d say go for it! It’s a game-changer, for real.
