Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with finding the perfect big Louis Vuitton handbag. You know, the kind that can fit everything but still looks chic? I finally decided to take the plunge and document my whole journey.
The Hunt Begins
First, I started by browsing online, just to get a feel for the different styles. I looked at the Neverfull, of course, that’s a classic. But I also checked out the Onthego, the Capucines, and a few others I hadn’t even heard of before.
Narrowing It Down
I made a list of my must-haves. It had to be big enough for my laptop, my planner, a water bottle, snacks (essential!), and all the other random stuff I carry around. I also wanted something that could work for both work and weekends.
- Big enough: Gotta fit the essentials!
- Versatile: Work to weekend, no problem.
- Stylish: Obviously, it’s Louis Vuitton!
Store Visit!
Next, I went to the Louis Vuitton store. I tried on a bunch of different bags. I filled them up with some of the things so, it will be similar with my everyday stuff to see how they felt. The sales associate was super helpful, she gave a lot of good information.
The Decision
After much deliberation, I finally chose the Onthego GM in Monogram Empreinte leather. It’s huge, it’s gorgeous, and it’s surprisingly comfortable to carry, even when it’s loaded up. I think that the black color is really elegant for me.
Taking It Home
I purchased that bag! And walked out of the store feeling like a million bucks. It was definitely a splurge, but I know I’ll use it for years to come. I’m so excited to finally have my dream Louis Vuitton big handbag!
I already took it to put my necessities and a laptop, it fits very well, so I will bring it to my work tomorrow!
