Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing these Air Jordan 14 ‘Laney’ shoes for a while now. They first came out way back in ’99, low-cut things. I missed out on those, but I heard they were making a comeback in 2015. Then I heard that they were going to release the mid-top version of them, and I knew I had to get them. So, I started watching for news on those sneaker websites.

I saw a post somewhere that said the “Varsity Royal” colorway was dropping in stores, and I was hyped! I started checking online stores like crazy. I even joined some sneaker groups on social media to see what people were saying.
I found a few places online that were selling them, but the prices were all over the place. Some were way too expensive, and others looked kind of sketchy. I didn’t want to get scammed, you know? I also looked at some apps, but I couldn’t find them there.
- I tried to get them the first time, but the order couldn’t be processed. I was really mad.
- I called the store many times and asked them if they could help me with this.
- It turned out that I put in the wrong card number. I was so embarrassed.
Tried to get it the first time
Then, I saw someone mention this website in one of the groups, talking about saving money on sneakers. I figured, why not? I went to the site, and guess what? They had the Laney 14s, and they were actually cheaper than some other places! I compared a few different sites and finally found one that seemed legit and had a good price.
I quickly added them to my cart and went to checkout. I double-checked everything, my address, my payment info, and hit that “buy” button. I got a confirmation email, and I was stoked! I kept checking the tracking info every day, waiting for them to arrive.
Finally, the day came. The package arrived, and I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. There they were, the Air Jordan 14 ‘Laney’ in all their glory. They looked even better in person than they did online. I put them on right away, and they fit perfectly. I’ve been wearing them everywhere since, and I get so many compliments. It was definitely worth the wait and all the searching!

I even made a post in one of those sneaker groups, showing off my new kicks. Some people were jealous, some were happy for me, and some were just asking where I got them. It’s funny how these shoes can bring people together, right? It’s like a little community of sneakerheads, all sharing the same passion. I knew someone has to be buying these or else Nike would stop making them. And I am glad I am one of them.
Anyway, I’m super happy with my Laney 14s. They’re comfortable, they look great, and they remind me of the good old days of basketball. Now I can show off with my new shoes. What a day!
