This here Kobe 6 yellow black, well, it’s somethin’ else. Heard folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market, sayin’ it’s the cat’s meow. I seen them Kobe 6 shoes, all yellow and black, lookin’ like a bumblebee, but a real fast one. They say it’s good for that basketball game, you know, that game with the hoop? My grandson, he plays that. Maybe I should get him these, make him jump higher than a grasshopper in a hot skillet.
They say these Kobe 6 yellow black got somethin’ called “Zoom.” Now, I don’t know ’bout no “Zoom,” but if it makes you move faster than a chicken with its tail feathers on fire, then I reckon it’s a good thing. And “traction,” they say it’s got good traction. Sounds like somethin’ you’d put on your tractor, not on your feet. But if it helps these young’uns, well, that’s all that matters.
These shoes, they ain’t cheap, though. Cost more than a whole sack of potatoes, that’s for sure! But I guess you gotta pay for quality, like they say. If it keeps them boys from twistin’ their ankles, then maybe it’s worth it. Better than them havin’ to sit on the sidelines, watchin’ the game like a bunch of sad-eyed hounds.
I seen some other colors, too, not just this yellow black one. Some with red, some with blue. But this yellow and black one, it sure does stand out. Like a sunflower in a field of weeds. Folks say this Kobe fella, he was a real good player. I reckon that’s why these shoes are so popular. Everybody wants to be like him, runnin’ and jumpin’ and all that.

I seen a picture of these Kobe 6 shoes, they got a fancy design on ’em. Looks like snake scales. Don’t know why they’d want snake scales on their shoes, but I guess it looks kinda cool. Kids these days, they like all that fancy stuff. Back in my day, we just had plain old shoes. Didn’t need no snake scales to play ball.
This Kobe fella, he must have been a real big deal. They even got his name on the shoe. Must be like havin’ your name on a pie at the county fair. Everyone knows it’s yours. And these Kobe 6 yellow black, they’re like his special pie, I guess. Everyone wants a piece.
They are saying that these shoes are an “upgrade”. Like when you get a new plow for your field, but for your feet. It is supposed to be better than the old ones. I don’t know about all that, but if it helps those boys play better, then I am all for it. They need all the help they can get. That ball, it is hard to get in that little hoop!
