Kobe 2 Review: Is It Still a Good Shoe?

Date:

Alright, let’s talk about them Kobe 2 shoes, ya know, the ones that basketball fella used to wear. I ain’t no expert, but I seen ’em around, heard folks chattin’ ’bout ’em. So, here’s the lowdown, the way I see it.

Kobe 2 Review: Is It Still a Good Shoe?

First off, these shoes, they ain’t new, no sir. They been around a while, back from when that Kobe fella was still playin’. I heard tell he didn’t much like ’em at first, said they weren’t comfy or somethin’. Adidas, that’s the company that made ’em, they called ’em Kobe 2 back then. Now, they changed the name to Crazy 2, I reckon ’cause Kobe went and signed with Nike later on.

Now, some folks, they love these shoes. They say they good for playin’ basketball, light on your feet, not all clunky like some other shoes. I heard one fella sayin’ he been wearin’ ’em for ten years, just for playin’ around, ya know, pickup games. He seemed to like ’em alright. But then again, I seen other folks sayin’ they weren’t so good, that Kobe fella bein’ one of ’em, I guess.

  • They say the Kobe 2 was lighter than the first ones, the Kobe 1. I guess that’s a good thing, less weight to lug around when you runnin’ and jumpin’.
  • And talkin’ ’bout Nike, I heard Kobe got some real good shoes with them later on. Folks sayin’ they the best playin’ shoes ever made, but that’s a whole ‘nother story.
  • Some young folks out there, they buyin’ what they call “rep” Kobes, which means they ain’t the real deal, just copies. But hey, if they like ’em, that’s their business, ain’t it? I seen someone talkin’ online sayin’ they bought a bunch and saying how good or bad they are, givin’ ‘em ratings and such. Sounds like a lot of fuss over shoes to me.

It’s kinda hard to keep track of all these shoes, ya know? They got the Kobe 1, the Kobe 2, then the 6s, and I heard tell there’s even more, a 4, a 5 and an 8. Seems like they got a number for everthin’ these days. But folks seem to remember these Kobe 2s, even if they changed the name. Guess that means they somethin’ special, one way or another.

I ain’t sure if Nike still sells Kobe shoes now that, well, ya know, that Kobe fella ain’t with us no more. That’s a sad thing, that is. But them shoes, they still around, folks still wearin’ ’em, still talkin’ ’bout ’em. Iconic, that’s what they call ’em, means they important, I reckon.

So, that’s what I know ’bout them Kobe 2 shoes, or Crazy 2s, whatever you wanna call ’em. They light, some folks like ’em for playin’ ball, some don’t. They got a history, been around a long time. And they remind folks of that Kobe fella, a real good basketball player, gone too soon. That’s ’bout all I got to say ’bout it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my chickens.
