So, the other day I was thinking, “Hey, I really want to check out Ulta.” I’m in Canada, and I always hear about these awesome deals and products from Ulta. Makes me kinda jealous, you know? So, I grabbed my phone and started to see if there are any Ulta in Canada, cause why not? Maybe there’s one nearby, and I just didn’t know about it, right?
I went straight to my browser and typed in “is there Ulta in Canada.” I was kinda hoping I’d see a bunch of locations popping up on the map, but boy, was I in for a surprise. The first few results were like, “No Ulta stores in Canada.” I was like, “What? Seriously?” I kept scrolling, hoping it was some kind of mistake. I mean, Ulta is huge! How could they not be in Canada?
But nah, every site I checked said the same thing. Apparently, Ulta is only in the US. I even found some posts where people were talking about how they wished Ulta would come to Canada. Some folks were saying that Ulta had plans to expand here before, but then the pandemic hit, and everything got put on hold. Bummer, right? It felt like finding out your favorite band isn’t coming to your city on their tour. It’s such a letdown!
So, What about Ulta’s competitors?
Well, they must be doing well. Since there’s no Ulta here, I guess everyone’s just going to places like Sephora, Walmart, or Shoppers Drug Mart. I read somewhere that those are the main competitors for Ulta in Canada. And honestly, it makes sense. They’re the ones I usually go to for my beauty stuff. But still, it would’ve been cool to have an Ulta around.
And What about shipping?

No luck there either. Turns out, Ulta doesn’t ship internationally. Not even to Canada! It’s like they’re teasing us. I can see all their awesome products online, but I can’t get them. It’s so frustrating! I get that shipping can be a hassle, but still, it would be nice to have the option.
So yeah, that was my little adventure in trying to find an Ulta in Canada. It was a bit of a letdown, but hey, at least I know now, right? It’s just one of those things, I guess. Maybe one day Ulta will finally come to Canada, and when they do, I’ll be first in line! Until then, I’ll just keep an eye out and keep using what’s available here.
