That Beyonce, she always a big shot, huh? Grammy 2023, they say. Is Beyonce pregnant at Grammys 2023? I don’t know, I just saw some pictures, she is always wearing those shiny clothes.
They say she was late, fashionably late. What’s that mean? Late is late. Like when you gotta milk the cow and you’re late, the cow don’t care if it’s fashionable. It just wants to be milked!
But that Beyonce, she can do whatever she wants, I guess. She wore this dress, they said it was strapless. Just means no straps, right? Like my old overalls, I cut the straps off one time, made it easier to bend over and pick them taters.
This dress, they say it had a… a nude top. Nude! Sounds a little, you know… showy, to me. But what do I know? I wear the same flour sack dress for a week sometimes. And the bottom part, it was silver. Shiny like a new dime. And it was all twisted around her.
They say Beyonce stole the show, like she done stole a chicken out of old man Johnson’s coop! She’s got more money than the whole town, I bet. Why she gotta steal anything? But people say that when someone’s real popular, I reckon.
- She had on three dresses. Three! I got three dresses, one for Sunday, one for working, and one for when I gotta go to town.
- And they took pictures of her in bed, with them Grammy things. Golden and shiny. Wonder if they’re real gold? Probably not, too many of them to be real.
- She was with her husband, that Jay-Z. He looks like a nice enough fella. And her mama, too. Family’s important. That’s what I always say.
That Beyonce, she sings real good. I heard her on the radio one time. Made me wanna get up and dance, but my old bones ain’t what they used to be. Now, if I was her age… I’d probably still be sitting here. But I’d be tapping my foot, at least!
They say she’s the queen. Queen of what, I don’t know. We don’t have queens around here. Just the queen bee in the hive, and she don’t sing, she just makes more bees. Maybe that’s what Beyonce does, makes more music. Like a bee making honey. Sweet and good for you.

I don’t know. I reckon I saw a picture where her belly looked a little round, maybe. Could be she just ate a big meal. Like when I eat a whole mess of cornbread, I look like I’m about to have triplets! Or maybe she’s got a little one on the way. Good for her, if she does.
Children are a blessing, that’s what I always say. Even when they’re screaming and running around like wild Indians, they’re still a blessing. Keeps you young. Or at least, keeps you busy.
That Beyonce, she’s got a few young’uns already, I think. Saw them in a picture once. Cute little things. They’ll probably be singers too, one day. Or maybe they’ll be doctors or lawyers. Or maybe they’ll just be regular folks, like me. Nothing wrong with that.
Grammy 2023, what a big deal, huh? I don’t get out much, so all these fancy goings-on, they’re all just stories to me. But it’s fun to hear about them. Makes me feel like I’m part of the big world, even though I’m just sitting here on my porch swing.
