You know what? This thing, this “Without a Trace Finery”, it’s somethin’ else. I heard folks talkin’, sayin’ it’s the new big thing. So, I went down to that big store, you know the one, Target. They got everything there, even this Finery perfume.
They say it smells good. Well, I’ll tell ya, my nose ain’t what it used to be. But I smelled it. And it did smell kinda nice, kinda like… I dunno, somethin’ fancy. Not like the flowers in my garden, more like somethin’ you’d wear to a party or somethin’. Some folks say it smells like another perfume, “Missing Person” or somethin’ like that, but I wouldn’t know about that.
They had a whole bunch of these Finery things. Bottles all lined up. This one, “Without a Trace,” it’s in a pretty bottle. Without a Trace Finery, that’s what they call it. They got others too, like “Pistachio Please”. Now, that one, I thought it would smell like those nuts, you know? But it didn’t, not really. This other one was more nutty. The “Without a Trace” one is different. It smells, well it’s hard to say. Just real nice, you know?
Some folks are sayin’ this Finery perfume is like, a big deal. New for 2024, they say. Like it’s the latest fashion or somethin’. Well, I don’t know about all that, but it does smell nice. I saw them puttin’ out new ones at the store. Three new ones, I think. All different smells. This “Without a Trace” one, though, it’s got somethin’ special.

My daughter, she’s always wearin’ perfume. She says it makes her feel good. Maybe she’s right. Maybe this “Without a Trace” perfume will make me feel good too. It did smell real nice. This one girl said it was “layerable” and “easy to wear”. Don’t know what she meant by that, but she seemed to like it. She said it was everything you’d want it to be.
They got all kinds of smells these days. It’s hard to keep up. But this one, it stuck with me. “Without a Trace.” It’s a good name, I guess. Makes you think of somethin’ mysterious, somethin’ special. And it does smell special. Not too strong, but just right.
I saw some folks talkin’ about it online. Sayin’ it’s like, a “leathery-powdery” smell. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds fancy. They say it’s a popular smell. Lots of folks are buyin’ it. They say it’s the new thing that everyone has to try.
This other perfume they were talkin’ about, “Kayali”, they said it smelled like rum and was real sugary. This “Without a Trace” Finery ain’t like that. It’s different. More like, well, like I said, it’s hard to explain. Just nice, you know?
I reckon if you’re lookin’ for a new smell, somethin’ different, somethin’ a little bit fancy, you might want to try this “Without a Trace” Finery. It’s worth a sniff, at least. You can find it at that big store, Target. They got a whole section of these Finery things. Just look for the pretty bottles. And if you see me there, sniffin’ around, don’t be shy, say hello! Maybe you could tell me what you think about the smell. Maybe it smells like somethin’ you know.
Some people say to look nice, you gotta have nice hair and makeup, too. They say to keep your makeup natural and have nice, neat eyebrows and wear a little lip color. For hair, they say to have loose waves or put it up in a messy bun. I guess that goes with the perfume, makes it all fancy, huh? That’s what they say, anyway.
This whole “Without a Trace” Finery thing, it’s got me thinkin’ about smells. It’s funny how a smell can bring back memories, or make you feel a certain way. Like the smell of fresh bread reminds me of my mama’s kitchen. And the smell of rain reminds me of bein’ a little girl, playin’ outside. Maybe this perfume will make some new memories. Who knows?
