My silly journey finding Tyler’s autograph price
Alright, so yesterday I saw this meme about Tyler, The Creator online. Made me wonder, what if I had something he signed? How much would that even be worth now? Felt like finding out.

First thing I did? Grabbed my phone like always. Typed “tyler the creator autograph worth” straight into the search bar. Felt like a pro doing, you know, 5 seconds of Googling. Saw a bunch of auction sites pop up, eBay listings too, mixed in with forums where people argue about fakes.
Scrolled through page after page. Most of it felt confusing. Prices jumped around like crazy. Saw some old photos supposedly signed by Tyler listed for peanuts. Then some sneakers with his signature asking for crazy money. Seriously? How do you even know it’s real? Made my head hurt.
Tried adding “verified” or “authenticated” to the search. That helped a bit. Finally landed on some auction results from real auction houses. Sorta felt legit, I guess.
Here’s the mess I found:
- Signed vinyl records: Mostly between $150 to $500. Depended on which album and how clean the sig looked.
- Signed CD booklets: Cheaper. Usually $80 to $250.
- Posters: Even wider range. Like $70 to $350. Some big concert posters were pricier.
- Signed clothing or sneakers? Forget it. Could be hundreds or thousands. Depends if it was some limited thing he wore or just a random tee. Impossible.
Realized quick there is NO one price. Felt kinda stupid thinking it’d be simple. Stuff my dog chewed on yesterday looked clearer than this pricing mess.

Big takeaways smacking me in the face? Condition is stupidly important. An autograph on a beat-up CD case? Worth squat. Same signature on a mint vinyl sleeve? Suddenly kinda valuable. Also, who guaranteed it wasn’t forged? Big companies like that Beckett or PSA thing people talked about? That matters too, apparently. Big price difference.
Then the worst part – what exactly was signed. Common album? Meh. Super rare piece? Boom, price shoots up. When did he sign it? Early Odd Future stuff versus now? Different prices. My eyes were crossing trying to track all this.
Started feeling dizzy. Needed coffee. Almost clicked one of those “INSTANT VALUE APPRAISAL” ads just to see how fake it was, but stopped myself. Probably would’ve asked for my credit card. Scary.
After an hour? Yeah, learned something. You cannot just slap a single price tag on it. Too many moving parts. Honestly felt like the only way to actually know what YOUR specific signed thing is worth? Gotta compare it to nearly identical stuff that actually sold recently. Not just what some dreamer is asking for.
Anyway, whatever. Just wanted a quick answer and fell down a rabbit hole instead. Typical. My cat meowed, demanding dinner. Went to feed him and forgot about autographs for the rest of the day. Might be worth a hundred bucks. Might be worth fifty. Might be worthless unless you care about Tyler.
