Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect everyday tote, and you know I’m a sucker for a good LV. I finally decided to take the plunge and get a classic LV tote, and let me tell you, the whole process was an experience!
First, I spent hours, and I mean hours, online just browsing. Looking at all the different styles, sizes, and materials. It’s overwhelming! I watched a bunch of YouTube videos of people showing off their bags, trying to get a feel for what they’re really like in person.
My Options
- The Neverfull: This is, like, the LV tote, right? Super popular, comes in a million sizes and materials. But I was worried it might be a little too common.
- The Onthego: This one is a bit more structured, and I loved the giant monogram print. It seemed really practical, with lots of room.
- The Graceful: This one is a hobo style, a little more slouchy and relaxed. It looked super comfy to carry.
After all that online research, I decided I needed to see these things in person. So, I headed to the LV store. And let me tell you, walking into that store is an event in itself. Everything is so shiny and fancy!
The sales associate was super helpful. I told her what I was looking for – something for everyday use, big enough for my laptop and all my other junk, but still stylish. She showed me all the options I’d been eyeing online, plus a few others.
I tried them all on, walking around the store with them, stuffing my wallet and phone inside to see how they felt. It’s a big decision, you know? You want to make sure it’s the right one.
Finally, I landed on the Onthego GM in the Monogram Empreinte leather. It’s the perfect size, super roomy, and the leather is just gorgeous. It’s a bit of a splurge, but I figured it’s an investment piece, something I’ll use for years.
The whole experience, from the online browsing to the in-store try-on, was actually really fun. And now I have my beautiful new LV tote, and I’m obsessed! I’ve been carrying it everywhere, and it fits everything I need. Totally worth it!
