Okay, so I saw this whole “Caitlin Clark orange carpet” thing blowing up, and I figured, why not try to recreate the look myself? I mean, it looked pretty cool, and I’m always up for a little fashion experiment.

First, I spent like, an hour just scrolling through photos. Seriously, I wanted to get every detail just right. I focused on what she was wearing, the colors, the fit, everything.
The Outfit Breakdown
It seemed like a pretty straightforward, yet stylish, outfit. Here’s what I gathered:
- White Top: Looked like a crisp, maybe slightly oversized, white button-down shirt.
- Black Pants: Seemed to be fitted, but not super skinny. Maybe a straight-leg or slightly flared style.
- Shoes: Classic style, likely black.
- Accessories: some rings.
My Attempt
So, I raided my closet. I already had a white button-down, which was a good start. I found a pair of black pants that were kinda similar to what Caitlin was wearing, fitted but not tight. My were a bit more of a straight leg than a flare, but close enough!
Next I put my cloth on.
It wasn’t perfect, of course. I don’t have a designer wardrobe, haha. But I think I got pretty close to the overall vibe. The key, I realized, was the simplicity and the clean lines of the outfit. It’s not flashy, but it’s sharp and put-together.
This little project was actually pretty fun. It made me think more about how simple pieces can be combined to create a really stylish look. And hey, maybe I’ll even wear this outfit out sometime!
