Okay, so today, let’s talk about this Anastasia Beverly Hills Fall Romance palette. I finally got my hands on it and I really wanted to try it out.
First off, this brand, Anastasia Beverly Hills, it’s been around since, like, 1997. A Romanian lady named Anastasia Soare started it. I guess it’s a big deal now because I read somewhere that the company is worth around $500 million! Her daughter, Claudia, who also goes by Norvina, is running the show now. Impressive, right?
I saw this palette online and thought, “Gotta try this!” The colors just screamed “fall” to me. You know, those warm, cozy vibes. It’s got 12 shades, a mix of sparkly metallic ones and some basic neutrals.
So, I got the palette and here’s what I did:
- First, I just opened it up and looked at all the pretty colors. I spent a good few minutes just admiring the palette.
- Then, I started playing around, swatching them on my arm to see how they looked on my skin. They were so smooth.
- I decided to go for a full eye look. I started with a lighter shade all over my lid as a base. Easy peasy.
- Next, I picked a darker, kinda reddish-brown color and put that in my crease. Blended it out with a fluffy brush. It was not difficult.
- After that, I wanted some sparkle, so I used my finger to dab one of the metallic gold shades on the center of my lid. Oh, it was so shiny!
- I finished up by using a tiny brush to put a bit of a dark brown shadow along my lower lash line.
- I also got a little lip liner with the palette. It’s called “Hazelnut,” and it’s a nice, neutral color. I lined my lips with it, and it was super easy to use. It was precise, not messy at all. I felt like I was drawing on my lips.
My Thoughts
Honestly, I really liked this palette. The shadows are easy to use, they blend well, and the colors are gorgeous. And the lip liner? It’s going straight into my everyday makeup bag. The whole experience was fun, and I ended up with a look that I thought was pretty darn good for a regular day. You can tell I am not a professional, but I did it! I’d say this palette is a win.
That’s all for today, see you next time!
