Forvr Mood Hard To Get: Scent Profile, Longevity & Overall Vibe

Okay, so, I finally got my hands on the FORVR Mood “Hard to Get” perfume. You know I had to try it out, right? Here’s the lowdown on my experience, start to finish.

Forvr Mood Hard To Get: Scent Profile, Longevity & Overall Vibe

First off, I ripped open the package like a kid on Christmas morning. The bottle itself is super cute – simple, but classy. Gave it a good look-over before even thinking about spraying it.

Then came the big moment: the first spritz. I went for the classic wrist and neck combo. The initial scent was definitely bright. I could pick up that citron zest right away – it’s like a burst of sunshine. Followed quickly by a softer, jasmine thing going on. Not too overpowering, which is good, ’cause I hate smelling like a flower bomb.

I wore it all day, just to see how it evolved. At first, it’s pretty strong, but then it mellows out into this warm, vanilla-ish scent. Honestly, the whipped vanilla note is what really hooked me. It’s not that fake, sweet vanilla smell either, it’s more subtle and comforting.

Here’s the breakdown of how it lasted:

  • First hour: Citron and jasmine were the stars. Super noticeable.
  • Next 3-4 hours: The jasmine chilled out and the vanilla started creeping in. It became more of a skin scent, but still present.
  • End of the day: I could still smell it faintly on my clothes, mostly the vanilla. Definitely not as strong as the beginning, but it was there.

I even asked my boyfriend what he thought, and he said I smelled “good…like vanilla cookies, but not in a bad way.” So, that’s a win, right?

I gotta say, I’m pretty impressed. I was a little worried ’cause I know FORVR Mood is Jackie Aina’s brand, and sometimes celebrity brands are just…meh. But this is legit. It smells good, it lasts a decent amount of time, and the scent is actually unique. It’s definitely going into my regular rotation.

Would I repurchase? Yeah, probably. It’s a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it for a treat-yourself kind of scent.

One last thing: I did notice it’s supposed to be paraben, Phthalate, and cruelty-free, which is a nice bonus. Always good to support brands that are doing things the right way.

So, there you have it. My full “Hard to Get” experience. Go give it a sniff if you get a chance. You might just fall in love.
