Alright, let’s talk about the Louis Vuitton Neverfull sizes. I remember when I first started looking at this bag, everyone seemed to have one, but they all looked kinda different in size on different people. Online pictures? Not super helpful, honestly. You see PM, MM, GM, and your brain just kinda goes fuzzy trying to figure out which one won’t look ridiculously big or small on you.

So, I decided I needed to figure this out properly. Just looking at numbers online, like dimensions, didn’t really give me the full picture. I needed to understand what they actually felt like, what they could realistically hold based on my own stuff. It became a bit of a personal mission.

Getting Hands-On (Sort Of)

My first step was really trying to visualize. I looked at tons of pictures, watched videos where people showed what fits inside. It helps a bit, but it’s still not like having them in front of you. I tried comparing the listed dimensions to bags I already owned, holding up a tape measure to myself in the mirror – yeah, I really did that. Felt a bit silly, but I wanted to get it right!

Eventually, I managed to see them side-by-side. That was the real game-changer. Seeing the actual scale difference made things click.

Breaking Down the Sizes: My Experience

Here’s what I found going through them:

  • The PM (Petite Modèle): Okay, this one is the smallest. When I first saw it, I thought, “Oh, that’s cute.” It’s definitely more of a small tote or a large purse. I tried putting my usual daily stuff in it – wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small makeup pouch. It all fit, but just barely. It felt snug. If you carry very little, this could work. It looked okay proportion-wise on me, didn’t overwhelm my frame, but felt a bit limiting for what I usually carry. Definitely not fitting a laptop or even a standard water bottle comfortably.
  • The MM (Moyen Modèle): This seems to be the most popular one, the ‘middle’ size. And I can see why. When I picked this one up, it felt much more substantial than the PM. I could easily fit my essentials, plus a water bottle, my notebook, even my smaller laptop (like a 13-inch) fit okay. It felt like a proper ‘carryall’ without being massive. On the shoulder, it felt comfortable. This seemed like the practical choice for everyday use, work, or running errands. It just seemed to hit that sweet spot.
  • The GM (Grand Modèle): Whoa, this one is BIG. Seriously, the ‘Grand’ model lives up to its name. When I tried packing this one, I ran out of my usual stuff and started just looking for more things to put in. It swallowed everything the MM held, plus a sweater, maybe gym clothes, probably a small dog (kidding… mostly). It felt huge on my shoulder. For me, personally, it felt way too big for just nipping out to the shops. But I could totally see this being amazing for travel – like a carry-on bag or a weekend trip bag. If you need to haul a lot of stuff regularly, or if you’re taller and can carry off a larger bag, then this is your guy.

So, What Did I Learn?

After all that comparing and imagining myself using each one, it became pretty clear that the size you need really, really depends on your life. What do you carry every day? How tall are you? What will you primarily use the bag for?

For me, trying to balance daily use with needing to carry a decent amount of stuff, the MM felt like the most logical fit. The PM was just a bit too small for my needs, and the GM felt like overkill for anything other than travel or specific ‘big haul’ days.

Seeing them, even if it was just comparing them visually side-by-side after lots of online digging, made all the difference. You really need to get a sense of the scale beyond just photos or numbers. So yeah, that was my little journey into figuring out the Neverfull sizes. Hopefully, sharing my process helps someone else out there trying to decide!
