Alright, let’s talk about this here perfume, the Club de Nuit Eau de Parfum. Folks been makin’ a big fuss about it, so I figured I’d give my two cents. Now, I ain’t no fancy perfume expert or nothin’, but I know what smells good and what don’t.
First off, they say this here Club de Nuit smells a whole lot like some other fancy, expensive perfume. Don’t ask me the name, I can’t keep all them fancy names straight. But people say this one’s a whole lot cheaper, and that’s alright by me. I ain’t got money to throw around on some perfume that costs more than a week’s worth of groceries.
Now, when you first spray it, it’s kinda strong, you know? Like a real smack in the face. Smells like lemon and somethin’ else fruity, maybe pineapple? I ain’t sure, but it’s kinda sharp. Some folks don’t like that, say it smells like cleaner. But I say, give it a minute, it settles down.
- The smell changes, gets a little sweeter, a little softer. I can smell somethin’ like flowers, maybe roses, and somethin’ spicy too. Cinnamon maybe? It’s kinda hard to pick it all out, but it smells nice, you know? Not too girly, not too manly, just right in the middle.
- And this here perfume, it lasts a good long while. I put it on in the mornin’, and I can still smell it on my clothes at night. That’s important, ’cause I ain’t got time to be re-sprayin’ myself all day long. I got things to do, you know?
- They make a bunch of different kinds of this Club de Nuit stuff. Some stronger, some weaker, some with different smells. This one, the Eau de Parfum, they say it’s a good one to start with. Not too strong, not too weak, just right. And it don’t cost a fortune, which is always a good thing.
Some folks say this perfume is good for fancy occasions, like goin’ to church or a weddin’. But I say, you can wear it whenever you want. If you wanna smell nice while you’re gardenin’, go right ahead. If you wanna smell nice while you’re doin’ the dishes, that’s your business. Perfume ain’t just for special occasions, it’s for makin’ you feel good, no matter what you’re doin’.
Now, I ain’t gonna lie, there’s some things about this perfume that ain’t perfect. Like I said, that lemon smell at the beginnin’ can be kinda harsh. And some folks say it smells a little bit fake, not like real flowers or real fruit. But I say, for the price you pay, it’s a pretty good deal. You can’t expect to get somethin’ that smells like a million bucks for a few dollars, now can you?
I’ve been wearin’ this Club de Nuit for a while now, and I gotta say, I like it. I get compliments on it, people tellin’ me I smell good. And that makes me feel good, you know? It’s nice to smell nice. Makes you feel a little bit fancy, even if you’re just wearin’ your old overalls.
They say this perfume has got somethin’ called “amberwood” in it, and some other fancy things. I ain’t sure what all that means, but I know it smells warm and kinda cozy, like sittin’ by the fire on a cold night. And it’s got some pepper in it too, which gives it a little bit of a kick. It’s not a boring smell, that’s for sure.
This here Club De Nuit Intense Man, is a spicy and warm perfume. They say it came out in 2012, that’s a long time ago, ain’t it? They also say it’s got cinnamon and amber in it, which I kinda smell, it’s nice. Then there is one they call Limited Edition, that one smells like lemon, pineapple, lime, and some other things. It’s got jasmine and rose too, flowers! Smells real strong and lasts all day. That’s good, ’cause you don’t wanna be wastin’ your perfume, sprayin’ it all the time.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a new perfume and you don’t wanna spend a whole lot of money, I say give this Club de Nuit a try. It ain’t perfect, but it’s pretty darn good. And who knows, maybe you’ll like it as much as I do. And if you don’t, well, you ain’t out a whole lot of money, right? That’s what I always say, it’s better to try somethin’ and not like it, than to not try it at all and always wonder what it would be like.
Anyway, that’s what I think about this here Club de Nuit perfume. It ain’t the fanciest thing in the world, but it smells good, lasts long, and don’t cost an arm and a leg. And that’s good enough for me.
