Clebs No Make Up: See Stars Without Makeup On and Off Duty

Alright guys, so today I’m spilling the beans on something I’ve been playing around with lately: “clebs no make up.” Basically, trying to get that celeb-level glow without piling on the foundation, concealer, and all that jazz.

First things first, I started with the basics. Like, really basic. I’m talking about skincare, obviously. I figured if I wanted to rock the no-makeup look, my skin needed to be in decent shape to begin with. So, I doubled down on my routine.

  • Cleansing: I switched to a gentler cleanser, something that wouldn’t strip my skin. I used to be all about those harsh, foaming cleansers, but now I went for a hydrating one.
  • Exfoliating: Exfoliation is key! I started using a chemical exfoliant (AHA) a couple of times a week. Nothing crazy, just something to help get rid of dead skin cells and make my skin look brighter.
  • Moisturizing: This is a no-brainer, but I really focused on finding a moisturizer that worked for my skin. I needed something hydrating but not greasy.

Next up, I moved onto targeted treatments. I’m talking about serums and stuff. I added a vitamin C serum in the morning to help brighten my skin and protect it from free radicals. At night, I’d use a retinol serum (not every night though, gotta ease into that stuff!).

Then came the “no makeup” makeup. I know, it sounds contradictory, but hear me out. The goal wasn’t to completely ditch makeup, but to use it strategically to enhance my natural features. I started by ditching foundation for a tinted moisturizer. It gave me just enough coverage to even out my skin tone without looking cakey.

After that, concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes, followed by a touch of cream blush on the apples of my cheeks. Then I filled in my brows a bit with a brow pencil, curled my lashes, and added a coat of mascara.

The last step was all about the glow. I used a liquid highlighter on my cheekbones, brow bone, and the inner corners of my eyes. This gave me that dewy, lit-from-within look that’s so popular right now.

And honestly? I was surprised by the results. I didn’t look like a completely different person, but my skin looked healthy and radiant. Plus, it felt so much lighter and more comfortable than wearing a full face of makeup.

Of course, it’s not perfect. I still have days where my skin isn’t cooperating and I need a little extra coverage. But overall, I’m really happy with this “clebs no make up” routine. It’s helped me embrace my natural skin and feel more confident in my own skin.

So, yeah, that’s my little experiment. Give it a try if you’re looking to switch things up and embrace a more natural look. Let me know how it goes!
