Alright, let me tell you about my experience with this 2013 Continental GT Speed. Got my hands on one a while back, and man, what a beast!

First thing I did, of course, was give it a good once-over. Checked the fluids, tire pressures, the whole shebang. Couldn’t wait to get it out on the road.
The engine… oh man, that W12. Started it up, and that growl just sends shivers down your spine. Took it out for a spin, and the acceleration is just insane. Plant your foot, and you’re gone. Seriously, watch out for the speed limits!
But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. A few niggles here and there, as you’d expect from a car of that age. The infotainment system felt a bit dated, and the ride was a tad firm for my liking. Time to get my hands dirty!
First up, the infotainment. Didn’t want to go too crazy, just wanted to modernize it a bit. I looked into some aftermarket options, but in the end, I decided to stick with the original unit. Found a way to update the maps and software, which made a world of difference. Plus, I added a Bluetooth adapter for streaming music. Much better!
Then there was the ride. Those big wheels and low-profile tires looked fantastic, but they weren’t doing me any favors on bumpy roads. I considered swapping them out for something a bit more forgiving, but I liked the way it looked too much. So, I decided to try adjusting the suspension settings. Fiddled around with the dampers until I found a sweet spot that balanced comfort and handling. It improved things quite a bit.

Next, I tackled some of the smaller issues. Replaced the worn-out floor mats, gave the leather a good cleaning and conditioning, and fixed a few rattles here and there. Nothing major, but it all added up to make the car feel much fresher.
I also spent some time detailing the car. Gave it a thorough wash, clay bar treatment, and polish. The paint came up beautifully, and the chrome sparkled like new. Nothing beats a clean car, am I right?
Of course, I kept up with the regular maintenance too. Oil changes, filter replacements, brake checks… all the usual stuff. These cars are built to last, but you gotta take care of them.
After all that work, the Continental GT Speed felt like a completely different car. It was faster, more comfortable, and more enjoyable to drive. And it looked stunning. I was really proud of what I’d accomplished.
Would I do it again? Absolutely! It was a challenging but rewarding experience. And now I have a truly special car that I can enjoy for years to come.

If you’re thinking about getting one of these, I say go for it. Just be prepared to put in some time and effort to keep it in top condition. But trust me, it’s worth it.
