Yo, so today was all about finally grabbing that fancy new Bridgerton collab from Bath & Body Works. Heard it dropped and I knew I had to check it out myself.

The Mission
Woke up super early to beat the crowds. Showered real quick, skipped breakfast, jumped in the car. Drove straight to my nearest BBW – you know how these hot ticket items fly off shelves.
Parked, saw a couple other ladies heading in fast. Thought, “Uh oh, better hustle.” Pushed the door open and boom. Smelled the store before I saw anything. Overwhelming, like always.
Finding the Goods
Started scanning the walls. Moved past the usual seasonal stuff. Then spotted it: a whole section draped in those frilly Bridgerton-style fabrics. Score! Boxes everywhere looked kinda fancy, gold trim and pastel colors – really standing out.
Got up close and started sniffing. Man, it’s strong! My nose started tickling. Tried the “Violet Blooms” hand cream first. Squeezed a dab. Rubbed it in. Okay, floral – like, really floral. Smelled kinda old-times, elegant? Maybe like grandma’s nice perfume? Hmm.
- Strawberry Pound Cake Body Lotion: Grabbed the bottle. Squirted a glob on my wrist. Oh wow, super sweet. Like… fake strawberry syrup poured on pancakes? Kids might dig it.
- Lady Whistledown’s Wit 3-Wick Candle: Peeked under the lid. Took a deep whiff. Fruity? Spicy? Couldn’t pin it down. Interesting mix though. Smelled warm.
- The Duke Hand Sanitizer: Cracked one open. Splashed some on. Sharp! Woodsy and kinda musky. Made my eyes water a tiny bit. Very… manly? Different from the rest for sure.
Making Choices & Checkout Chaos
Honestly, the scents were kinda wild. Strong and specific. Stood there, sniffing my own arms like a weirdo. Settled on the Violet Blooms lotion (felt the most “Bridgerton-y”), the Lady Whistledown candle (that mystery vibe got me), and grabbed a couple hand sanitizers just to try all the scents.

Walked to the counter. Line was building behind me already. Cashier scanned my stuff super fast. Threw in some samples – extra Strawberry Pound Cake packets. Paid, grabbed my big bag. Felt the satisfying crinkle of fresh packaging.
First Impressions at Home
Dumped the bag out on my bed. Laid it all out. Admired the packaging. Put the candle on my coffee table – looks fancy! Lit it immediately. Room filled with that warm, fruity-spice smell kinda quick. It’s growing on me.
Tried the Violet Blooms lotion again. Rubbed it properly on my hands this time. Definitely a mature floral. Not my usual jam, but feels kinda luxurious? Like dressing up in a fancy dress just to sit around. Using The Duke sanitizer – cough – definitely wakes you up! Smells like a historical drama leading man walked by.
Overall? Mission accomplished! It’s fun, different, smells intense. Perfect if you’re obsessed with Bridgerton or just wanna feel extra for a while. Was it a smooth experience? Not exactly – crowded store, overwhelming smells, sneezing fits included. But hey, that’s the Bath & Body Works hustle! Got my pieces, burned the candle. Job done.
