Best Mens Summer Cuts: Find Your Perfect Look for Summer

Okay, so yesterday I was trying to figure out what to do with my hair. Summer’s here, and I was sweating like crazy. My usual style was just too much. So, I started looking up “mens summer cuts” online, hoping to find something cool and manageable.

Best Mens Summer Cuts: Find Your Perfect Look for Summer

First, I checked out a bunch of photos. I was kinda drawn to those shorter, textured styles. You know, the ones that look good without needing a ton of product. I saw a few fades that looked pretty clean, and some slightly longer styles on top that you could kinda mess around with.

Next, I watched a few YouTube videos. Gotta see how these cuts actually look in motion, right? Plus, I wanted to get an idea of how easy they were to style. Some of those barbers were using like, five different products. Nah, not for me. I need something quick and easy.

I decided to go for a textured crop with a fade. Looked cool, seemed low-maintenance. I figured, worst case scenario, it’ll grow back, right?

So, this morning, I went to my local barber. Showed him a couple of pictures I’d saved on my phone. He seemed to know what I was going for. We talked about how short I wanted the fade, and how much texture I wanted on top.

He started by doing the fade on the sides and back. He used clippers, going from a zero guard at the bottom up to a slightly longer length. He blended it really well, so there weren’t any harsh lines. That’s important, or it looks like a total mess.

Then, he worked on the top. He used scissors to create some texture, cutting into the hair at different lengths. He wasn’t just chopping it all off evenly. It looked pretty good even before he styled it.

After the cut, he used a little bit of matte clay to style it. Just a tiny amount, rubbed between his hands, then worked through my hair. He styled it forward, creating a bit of a messy, textured look.

The result? I’m actually pretty happy with it! It’s way cooler than my old style, and it’s super easy to manage. I just need a little bit of product, and I’m good to go. Plus, the fade keeps my neck cool, which is a huge bonus in this heat.

  • Researched styles online (photos, videos)
  • Went to the barber with reference pictures
  • Got a textured crop with a fade
  • Styled with matte clay
  • Feeling cool and ready for summer!

I’d definitely recommend this cut if you’re looking for something stylish and easy to deal with during the summer. Give it a try!
