Ice Spice Hair: How to Get Her Signature Look? Easy Step-by-Step Guide for You!

Hey everyone, so I’ve been obsessed with Ice Spice’s hair lately. I mean, who isn’t? That vibrant orange, the curls, it’s just a whole vibe. I decided I was going to try and get the look myself. Let me tell you, it was a journey!

Ice Spice Hair: How to Get Her Signature Look? Easy Step-by-Step Guide for You!

First steps

First, I watched a bunch of videos about Ice Spice’s hair journey. I saw her rocking those signature orange curls, and I knew I had to have them. But also, I saw some pictures of her with straight black hair, and that was a nice change too. My natural hair is kinda curly, but it’s more like a messy wave than those defined curls she has. So, I figured I had some work to do.

The process

I started by looking into what kind of curl type Ice Spice has. I found out it’s probably around 3A or 3B, which means tighter curls, but not super coily. My hair is probably more like a 2C, so I knew I’d need some serious styling products. I went out and bought a curl-defining cream and some gel. I figured I’d try the “plopping” method that people with type 3 hair seem to love. I’ve tried it before but haven’t seen great results.

  • Washing and conditioning – I washed my hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. The key is to get those curls hydrated, am I right?
  • Applying products – While my hair was still soaking wet, I applied a generous amount of curl cream and then scrunched in some gel.
  • Plopping – I grabbed an old t-shirt and plopped my hair in it. It’s like wrapping your hair in a t-shirt turban, look it up.
  • Waiting… – This was the hardest part. I had to let my hair dry like this for at least an hour.
  • Diffusing – After it was mostly dry, I used my diffuser on low heat to finish the job and give it some volume.

Results

Okay, so it wasn’t exactly Ice Spice level, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out! My curls were definitely more defined, and they had that nice bounce to them. I think I might need to experiment with different products to get it even curlier. Also, I realized that I need to color my hair to a super vibrant orange to really get the whole look right. I might try a temporary dye first, just to see how it looks. But let me tell you, this whole thing takes a lot of work. It’s not easy keeping up with the trends, but it’s fun to try new things. I might even try a jet-black look one day, just to switch it up. Who knows, maybe I’ll even go for a bob like Princess Diana. The possibilities are endless!

Anyway, that’s my Ice Spice hair journey for now. I’ll keep you all updated if I make any more progress. Wish me luck! Hope you all enjoyed my little hair adventure, and maybe it gave you some ideas to try. Bye for now!
