Celsius at Coachella Whats the Buzz All About at the Festival

Okay, so, let me tell you about this whole Coachella thing. It was a wild ride, let me just say. I mean, the music and art are always the main draw, but this year I decided to pay more attention to the other stuff. You know, food, drinks, the whole experience.

First off, getting there was a mission in itself. We drove, and let me tell you, it felt like the entire state of California had the same idea. Traffic was a nightmare, but we finally made it to the desert. And oh boy, the desert! It’s, well, it’s a desert. Not a lot of trees, just a whole lot of sun and sand. I packed these cute festival outfits, you know, the ones with glitter and all that. Big mistake.

The heat was insane. We’re talking about 35 degrees Celsius, like, constantly. I felt like I was melting. My glitter was a sweaty mess, my carefully curated outfits were sticking to me, and I swear I lost about 10 pounds in water weight. July is definitely the hottest month in Coachella.

We decided to focus on survival, so, naturally, we went on a hunt for food and shade. Turns out, Coachella has some pretty decent food. They had these pop-up restaurants from all over, which was cool. I mean, it wasn’t cheap, but it was good.

And then there were the speakeasies! I felt so important trying to find them. It was like a little treasure hunt. We found this one that was hidden behind a fake wall, and it was so cool. They had all these fancy cocktails. It was like stepping into a whole other world, away from the dust and the crowds. And, it felt even more rewarding since we managed to get to these bars before they got too crowded.

  • Tip number one: Ditch the elaborate outfits. Comfort is key when you’re battling the desert sun. The temperature easily gets above 99F, it’s important to dress light.
  • Tip number two: Water, water, water. I can’t stress this enough. And maybe a hat. And sunscreen. Basically, anything to shield you from the sun.
  • Tip number three: Explore the food and drinks. It’s actually pretty impressive, and it’s a nice break from the music.

Overall, Coachella was a crazy, sweaty, amazing experience. Would I do it again? Maybe. But next time, I’m bringing a portable fan, and a lot more water. And maybe I’ll skip the glitter. And, I’m thinking of going there earlier, or at least not in July, so that I don’t melt again. I heard that Coachella 2025 is going to be amazing, so I might go, we’ll see!
