Okay, so let me tell you about getting these Jordan Retro 4 Seafoam kicks. It wasn’t super crazy, but you know how these things go sometimes.
I first saw pictures floating around online, probably Instagram or some sneaker blog. That seafoam green color just popped, you know? It felt kinda different for a Jordan 4, reminded me a bit of some older vibes but still fresh. Wasn’t planning on grabbing new shoes, but these kinda stuck in my head.
Deciding to Go For It
So, yeah, I decided I’d try my luck. I’m not chasing every single drop like I used to, gets tiring. But these ones, I thought, yeah, they’d be nice to have. Looked clean. I figured, why not give it a shot?

The Drop Day
Release morning came. Got up, made some coffee, got the SNKRS app ready. Heart kinda pounds a little, even though you tell yourself it’s just shoes, haha. Timer hits zero, tapped that button like lightning. Then the waiting game… that little spinning circle thing.
Honestly, I expected the usual “Sorry, didn’t get ’em” message. But then, boom! The “Got ‘Em” screen actually popped up. I was genuinely surprised. A good start to the day, for sure.
Waiting and Unboxing
Then came the wait for shipping. Took a few days, felt longer. Finally, the box arrived. Standard Nike box, nothing fancy there. Pulled out the Jordan box inside – always love the look of the Retro 4 box.
Opened it up. That new sneaker smell hit me. Pulled back the paper, and there they were. The seafoam green looked even better in person than in the photos. Checked them over – stitching looked good, shape was right, no weird glue stains. Quality seemed pretty solid on my pair, thankfully.
Trying Them On and First Thoughts
Had to try them on right away. Slipped my feet in. Went with my usual Jordan 4 size, and they fit perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. Walked around the living room a bit. They felt like, well, Jordan 4s. A bit stiff at first, like most retros, but comfortable enough. You know they need some breaking in.

Wearing Them Out
Worn them out a handful of times since then. They get noticed, people seem to like the colorway. Still feel good on foot for casual wear, wouldn’t go hiking in them or anything. They’re holding up well, just basic cleaning needed after wearing.
Overall, really happy I managed to snag these. It was a smooth process for once, and the shoe itself is great. Nice materials, killer color. Definitely a good addition to the collection. Just a solid, clean pair of 4s.
