Alright, let’s talk about those Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2023 bags. I gotta say, when I first saw ’em online, I wasn’t immediately sold. But, you know me, I gotta get my hands on things to really see what’s what. So, I went down to the LV store – yeah, I actually went, fought the crowds and everything.

First thing I did was check out the new shapes. They had this one, like a sort of puffy, almost cloud-like bag. I picked it up, gave it a good squeeze. Felt surprisingly structured, not flimsy at all. The leather was buttery soft, that’s for sure.
Then I moved on to the classics. You know, the Speedy, the Neverfull, those kinda things. They had new versions, some with interesting embroidery and stuff. I’m usually a “keep it simple” kinda guy, but the embroidery actually looked pretty damn good. Not too loud, just enough to make it pop.
- I spent a good half hour just trying on different straps. The wide, canvas straps are definitely the way to go if you want something comfortable.
- Checked all the stitching, y’know, gotta make sure it’s up to par for the price you’re paying.
- Smelled the leather. Yeah, I’m that guy. But hey, good leather has a distinct smell.
One thing I really wanted to see was the inside. I hate it when a bag looks great on the outside but has a cheap, flimsy lining. Thankfully, LV didn’t disappoint. The lining was nice and thick, felt durable. Pockets were well-placed, too.
My Verdict?
Alright, so after all that inspecting, touching, and smelling, I gotta admit, the Spring/Summer collection ain’t bad. It’s got a good mix of classic and new, something for everyone, I guess. It changed my mind for sure, I walked away feeling like I actually know the bag this time.

I still think some of the prices are kinda crazy, but hey, it’s LV. You know what you’re getting into. If you’re thinking about getting one, I’d say go check ’em out in person. Pictures don’t do ’em justice.
