Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry for like, ever. Seriously, the woman had taste! And that emerald pendant? Forget about it. Iconic. So, I decided I needed to learn everything about it. It was time to go deep down the rabbit hole.

Digging for Info
First, I scoured the internet. I mean, hours, people. Hours. I pored over old articles, auction catalogs, and even some blurry paparazzi shots. I felt like a real detective, piecing together the story of this incredible piece.
- I started with Google, obviously. Just typed in “Elizabeth Taylor emerald pendant” and went from there.
- Then I hit up some jewelry blogs. You know, the ones with all the super-fans.
- I even checked out some old auction websites.
Building My Knowledge
It was a slow process. It wasn’t like there was one website with all the answers. I had to piece things together. I learned about the specific emeralds, where they came from, and who designed the pendant. I found out about the different times Elizabeth wore it, and how much it was worth (spoiler: A LOT).
I even made notes, like a real nerd! I jotted down all the facts, the dates, the carat weights…the whole shebang.
Sharing My Findings
After all that research, I felt like I was practically an expert. So what did any self respect person will do?
I must share about it!

It was a fun project. I dove into the history of a truly amazing piece of jewelry and came out the other side feeling way more knowledgeable. And honestly, a little more glamorous, just by association.
