Well, let me tell ya ’bout these Sambas shoes, ya know, the ones everyone’s wearin’ these days. I seen ’em on the young folks, and I gotta say, they somethin’ else.
First off, they look real nice. They ain’t clunky like them other sneakers, ya know? These Sambas, they make your feet look long and slim, kinda like a fancy lady’s shoes, but still sneakers, you get me? I heard someone sayin’ they go with everything – jeans, pants, even dresses! Imagine that, a sneaker you can wear to church! Maybe not church, but you get the idea.
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I heard these shoes were made for playin’ soccer inside, like in a gym or somethin’. They got this long tongue thingy stickin’ out and they ain’t heavy, which is good, ’cause who wants to lug around heavy shoes all day? The bottom part, the sole, they say it’s got this “EVA” stuff, whatever that is, makes ’em comfy I guess.

Folks are walkin’ around in ’em all day, so they must be alright for walkin’ too. One of them foot doctors, you know, the kind that fixes your bunions, she said they’re sturdy enough for walkin’. Even though they was made for soccer, they still good for your feet, which is important, ya know? You don’t wanna mess up your feet, ’cause then you can’t get around and do your chores, and that’s a problem.
Then there’s this other kind of Samba, they call it “ADV” or somethin’. Sounds fancy, but it’s just like the old Sambas, but tougher, for them skateboardin’ kids. Back in the day, them skaters, they liked these shoes ’cause they were close to the ground and they looked good, not all bulky and whatnot. So, they made ’em stronger, I guess, so they don’t fall apart when them kids do all them tricks.
Now, this ain’t got nothin’ to do with shoes, but I heard some folks talkin’ about somethin’ called “data somethin’-somethin’”… Database, yeah, that’s it! They said it’s like a big ol’ file cabinet, but for computers. Keeps all your stuff safe and organized. Sounds like a good thing, ’cause lord knows I can’t keep my receipts straight, let alone all that computer stuff.
This database thingy, it keeps your stuff safe. Like, if you got a business, you don’t want people stealin’ your customer information, right? So, this database thing, it helps with that. Keeps everything locked up tight.
And it ain’t just about keepin’ things safe, it’s about keepin’ things organized too. Like, if you got a store, you need to know what you got in stock, what you sold, and all that. This database, it helps you keep track of all that, so you don’t run outta stuff or order too much. Makes sense, ya know? Gotta keep things organized.
They was also talkin’ ’bout different kinds of these databases. One’s called “RDBMS,” sounds real complicated, but it just means the information is organized in tables, like rows and columns, you know, like a spreadsheet. Easy to find what you need, I guess.
And then there’s somethin’ called “MySQL,” another one of them database things. They say it’s been around a long time, and it’s free, which is always good. Sounds like a good option if you don’t wanna spend a lot of money, but still need somethin’ to keep your stuff organized.
Another thing they mentioned was this “SAP HANA” thing. Sounds real fancy, like somethin’ them big city folks use. They say it helps businesses make more money and spend less, which sounds good to me. But I reckon it’s probably too complicated for an old lady like me.
Anyway, back to them shoes. Sambas, they call ’em. Whether you’re playin’ soccer, skateboardin’, or just walkin’ around, they seem like a good choice. And who knows, maybe you need one of them database things too, to keep all your shoe receipts organized. Just kidding! But seriously, these Sambas shoes are somethin’ else. They are a great choice and worth having one or two pairs in your shoes cabinet. Everybody is wearing them, young and old and they look good on everyone. You can wear them with almost any outfit and they are very comfortable too. No need to worry about getting your feet hurt. Go get yourself a pair, you won’t regret it.
