Okay, so the other day, I was making out with my boyfriend, and I noticed something he does pretty consistently: he holds my hair back. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but then it kept happening, and I got curious. So, I started paying more attention.
Observation Time
I decided to be a little more observant during our next few kissing sessions. I wanted to see if there was a pattern. And yep, sure enough, almost every time things got heated, his hands would find their way to my hair, gently pulling it back from my face.
- First few times, I just let it happen, trying to act natural.
- Then, I started subtly moving my head a little, just to see how he’d react.
- He’d just adjust his grip, always making sure my hair was out of the way.
The “Experiment”
I figured I needed a more direct approach. So, one time, I tied my hair back in a ponytail before we started kissing. I wanted to see if he’d still try to hold it. He didn’t go for my hair that time (obviously!), but he did run his fingers through it a bit at the nape of my neck, which was kind of sweet.
Asking Him Directly
Finally, I just asked him. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, so I just casually brought it up one evening. I said something like, “Hey, I’ve noticed you often hold my hair back when we kiss. Is there a reason for that?”
His answer was actually pretty simple. He said he does it because he doesn’t want my hair to get in my face or mouth while we’re kissing. He also mentioned that he just likes the feel of my hair, and it’s kind of a way for him to be close to me. Made Sense.
So, there you have it. It wasn’t some big, complicated thing. It was just a small, thoughtful gesture. And honestly, I think it’s pretty cute.
