Sales lady here? Much friendlier right off. Smiled, asked if I needed help. Didn’t hover, which I liked. Showed her a picture of a small wallet. She actually grabbed a couple similar ones right then! “Check these out,” she says. Could actually touch things, compare. Selection is smaller than the main store, obviously, but for browsing? Way less intimidating.
Downtown Crossing Trip
Hopped the T down to Downtown Crossing after grabbing a seriously overpriced coffee. The standalone store here feels… busier. More people rushing in and out. Store felt a bit crowded, honestly. Racks looked messier than Newbury. Saw a jacket I kinda liked draped on a mannequin. Found a salesperson. “Hey, any chance you got that jacket in a medium?” She went to look. Took maybe 15 minutes?
