Today, I want to talk about something I’ve been messing around with lately – finding a good, tall, black cologne bottle. You know, something that looks sleek and stands out on the shelf.

So, I started looking around online, checking out different brands and styles. I saw that Cremo has a “Spice & Black Vanilla” one, and Curve has a “Black” version too. Sounded interesting, but I wanted to see what else was out there.
Then I started hunting for deals. Black Friday’s coming up, so I figured it’s a good time to look. I heard Macy’s often has good perfume deals, especially gift sets. Might be a good way to try a few different scents without breaking the bank.
- Looked at Cremo and Curve colognes online.
- Started searching for Black Friday deals.
- Heard Macy’s has good perfume deals, especially gift sets.
I also stumbled upon this brand, Tru Fragrance & Beauty, and their “1956 Collection Men’s Cologne Spray – Black.” The name’s a mouthful, but the bottle looked pretty cool.
After that, I hit up eBay to see if anyone was selling colognes on the cheap. Found some good deals on “Black” fragrances, and even saw a new, unopened “Anthony Black” for 40 bucks. Not bad!
- Found Tru Fragrance & Beauty’s “1956 Collection” cologne.
- Checked eBay for deals, found “Anthony Black” for $40.
While I was digging around, I found these sites called FragranceNet and FragranceX. They’re like discount cologne central! Mostly designer stuff, but at way lower prices. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on those.

Why Some Colognes Are So Expensive?
I read that Caron Poivre costs $1000 per ounce! Can you believe that? Apparently, it was to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and the bottle is handcrafted. Fancy stuff. Also, I’m a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio. He uses Annick Goutal Eau D’Hadrien perfumes. That’s got to be quality, right?
It seems like the expensive ones use special techniques and make smaller batches. Cheaper colognes are usually mass-produced and might use synthetic ingredients. Makes sense, I guess.
Anyway, that’s where I’m at with my cologne search. Still haven’t made a decision yet, but I’ve got some good leads. I’ll keep you guys posted on what I end up going with!
