Okay so I was dead set on grabbing a pair of Dior sneakers for this trip next month. Looked everywhere online at first – their own site was crazy expensive, other spots either had fake stuff or just old models. Totally frustrating.
The Search Begins
Started typing nonsense into Google like “real Dior shoes sale cheap” like an idiot. Obviously got trash results. Remembered that fancy department store chain… Saks something? Decided to check them out properly.
Navigating Saks
First time on their site honestly. Searched for “Dior” and bam – whole section popped up. Filtered just for shoes and there they were: all the new B27s and B30s with actual prices listed clearly. Not one shady “contact for discount” bullshit.
What I noticed right away:
- Sizes actually showed stock levels (none of that “email us to check” nonsense)
- High-res pics you could zoom like crazy on the stitching
- Free shipping thing automatically applied at checkout
Ordering Mine
Picked the white B27s in size 9. Added to cart smoother than butter. Checkout asked for address and card – no making accounts crap. Got order confirmation before I even closed the browser tab.
But here’s the kicker: later that night drunk me checked the order again. Saw the Dior monogram pattern… and realized I’d bought women’s sneakers. Total facepalm moment. Immediately called their customer service.
The Save
Some patient guy named Mark answered after two rings. Explained my drunk mistake laughing at myself. He canceled that order in 30 seconds flat. Helped me reorder the exact same shoe in MEN’s sizing right while I was on the phone. Even threw in faster shipping for the screwup. Shoes arrived three days later in stupidly nice packaging.
Still can’t believe I almost showed up to Vegas trip wearing women’s designer sneakers. Thank god for that dude Mark at Saks saving my ass. Pro tip: double check gender filters before clicking buy. And maybe don’t online shop after tequila shots.
